Annabeth was dead. All she had to do was give the new guy a tour of the camp. Now he was missing. It all started when Annabeth started the tour.“So these are the cabins. Each represent a god.” “Which god does that cabin represent.”Ryan was pointing at a cabin with the symbol of a bow and arrow on the top. “That is the Apollo cabin.God of the sun, music and poetry.” Ryan was looked away from the cabin.Annabeth was just showing him around all the cabins and which god they represented. She felt like a teacher giving her student History class.“And finally the Poseidon cabin.It--” Annabeth turned around to find out she was talking to nothing.“Um...Ryan?” She went searching for him in the woods.Annabeth lost track of time.It was almost time for the campfire. She kept searching until she found him hiding behind a rock outside the camp's magical borders.“What exactly are you doing out here.” Annabeth whispered.“Get down” Ryan hissed.Annabeth saw what he was so worried about. There was a lion in front of them.A lion with the head of a ram.“Get back into the camp.” Annabeth whispered. “This is a monster.” though for the first time Annabeth didn't know what type of monster it was.“What type of monster?” Ryan asked.Annabeth hesitated.“I...I don't know.” Ryan looked at Annabeth. “If the wise girl doesn't know it...I think its no ordinary monster.” Annabeth was shocked.Nobody except Percy called her that. She cleared her throat.“You're right.Let's go warn the camp.” Annabeth got up but Ryan stopped her.“By the time the camp gets here that thing would be gone.” Ryan looked at her with his warm brown eyes.Annabeth couldn't help looking at them.He reminded Annabeth of Percy. Brave.Acts stupid but kinda smart.Snap out of it she told herself.“You have a point.” Annabeth kneeled down beside him.“So,what do we do?” Ryan grinned.“We see how hard it is to kill”
