Ch 1 : A Sudden Change

"We all know Each other for so long ,but we don't know anything about the other's families ... other than my sister Finna ,Seran and Ikor's father ." Said Riff.

"You are Right , I always wonder what your parents would look like ." Said Trek.
" My parents are ... Embarrassing" said Eron.
" Lets make a family visit ! My family loves going out so they will first visit the king , then trek's family and then your family Eron. ". Riff said, really exited about the idea .

"I am not sure about that ." Said Ikor itching his neck

"Oh c'mon ! That will be fine , we lived 4 years together ." Insisted Riff

"yeah, we will get to know each other better" said Trek .

"Ok then ..." said Ikor defeated .

Later that week , Riff dragged his family into the relm of ice .

"Did you have to bring me with you !?" Asked Finna annoyed .

"Don't be so annoying , it is just a visit ." Said Riff

" Finna we are only visiting them to get to know who your brother hangs out with ." Said Fiona Riff's mother .

"Learn to respect that " said Derek , Riff's father

. A storm approached, and blew the family away

." No!" Riff shouted as he was the only one standing on the floor .

He searched for them for hours . He found them but Fiona was unconscious.

" Use your fire dad !" He shouted .

"But that is forbiden, are you sure ?" He asked .

"Yes , i will take responsibility for that , don't worry ." Riff said .

"I gotta go tell the guys i found you , i will be back in a sec . " He litterly took one second to go and come .

"Wow that was fast ." Said Finna .

" I will take you home , we will visit later ." He said .

Then he took his family home to treat his mother . He did , then he got back to the ice palace.

There , he met the guys and Aoki. While they were walking in the hallway Ikor said:" My father is not feeling too well today , maybe he would be a little ... annoying.

"They entered the the throne room . "Hello son." He said

" He really doesn't feel well" thought Eron .

"I have heard that your family was going to visit , did they use any forbiden powers ?" He asked .

Riff's eyes widened and he started to sweat ." Umm yeah.. but l told them to so it is my fault ." Riff said .

"Dad ! You gave him permission. " said Ikor.

"DON'T interrupt Ikor !" His father shouted and with his magic he stopped them from moving and talking .

All they could do was watch what was going on . He turned to Riff and said :" it is correct that i gave you permission, but did I give your family ?"

" No ,but I am responsible for that ." Riff said , concerned about what had happened to Ikor's father.

" Since you insist on taking the fault , I will punish you . Guards ! To the tourter chair ." He said .

"No DAD! It is unstable it could kill him !" Said Ikor somehow breaking his father's magic.

Shut up Ikor" he shouted then grabbed him from his shirt then said"If i let anything like that slip we will all perish to the flames that killed your mother ! He said leaving his son speechless as he let him crash against the floor.

At the tourter chair, Riff was locked on it . He turned it on and all the friends could hear is Riff's loud painful screams . A while later , the tourter was done . Riff got out of the chair with heavy footsteps , 2 steps and he fell unconscious.

The guards threw them out . Ikor was still in shock he wasn't able to move . Riff woke up after a while .

"Riff you are ok !" Said Aoki relifed. He stood up , but something was wrong with his hand which had the bracer on.

"Am I ?" He asked , looking at Ikor with a very angry look.

Everyone got extra shocked ," I can't move it , I am paralized." Riff said his tears running down

. He pulled the bracer out with his other hand then handed it to Aoki then he shouted :" It is your fault Ikor , you could've freed yourself and helped me , but you stayed there and stared at the walls !" He shouted with rage.

"I couldn't help feel shocked after I knew that one of your stupid tribe killed my mother !" He shouted back .

"I am sor-"

"Get out of my face ! I don't want to see you ever again." Riff shouted .

"No guys, everything could get back to normal, please don't fight." Said Eron .

Ikor held his hand out to shake it with Riff and he said :" I am really sorry ... Riff?"

Riff was standing infront of him trying to put his hand out but he couldn't. The look on his face was traumatizing.

"I can't be a hero anymore ... i am useless now ..." he said in a low voice .

"No you are not." said Trek .

Riff ran away saying :" it is all your fault ! I will NEVER forgive you !" He ran out of their sight .

The others tried to comfort Ikor by saying that he will be fine and they were freinds for long enough to forgive him .

Aoki found him unconscious on the snow after hours of seaching . After taking him to his home , he went to the hospital for treatment. It took Riff many painful months of treatmen .

He returned to the tower after that painful time away . He entered the tower to find them all in .

" Riff !" They all shoued with excitement, and ran to hug him, exept Ikor who was standing there .

Riff looked at Ikor,"why didn't you hug , don't you want to ?" He said

"I do but I thought that you might not want to ." Explained Ikor.

How would I not want to , I haven't seen you in 4 months , of course I would ." He replied .

"But your words are still echoing through my ears ." He said

. Riff remembered what he said . "Oh... you know .... rage ." He said .

"I am noticing that Riff and Ikor are not the same to each other , they are like ... they just met in an awkward situation. " said Eron .

"Yeah you are right ." Agreed Trek .

"What are we going to do ?" Asked Aoki .
