Hope, now going under Anon after yesterday's disaster, yawned as he made his way down the streets of Vale. Like many times before, he hadn't caught a wink of sleep. Usually, it was due to his habit of reading mangas and comics or playing games until the early morning. This particular bout of insomnia however was more a result of the stress of him getting Isekaied, to use his own words. His clothes were slightly damp from passing the night outside. Anon had been wandering for the better part of an hour before finally stumbling into the Beacon Bullhead Station. Glynda had been waiting for him.

"You're late." She scolded.

"Sorry." He hung his head. "In my defence, I kind of don't have a scroll."

"What?"

The pair walked to the parked bullhead.

"Non-person, remember? No home, scroll and no identity."

"Didn't you say you were from Vacuo?" She crossed her arms. "The tribal regions-"

"Glynda, be honest." He cut off. "Do I look like a fucking tribal?"

She looked him up and down. He didn't have the deeply tanned or bronzed skin typical of the desert-dwelling nomads of southern Vacuo, though his hair and eyes did remind her of that one nomad she met during her early career.

"I don't think so," She admitted.

"There ya go." He crossed his legs and looked at the rolling scenery. "Look, it's not important. All that matters is that I'm here now."

The two entered the bullhead and after a moment, they took off for Beacon. They sat silently across from one another.

"I feel like I should apologize to you, mister Anon." She finally said after five or so minutes of silence.

He looked up to meet her eyes.

"Why?"

"I should have said something yesterday. What Ozpin did was... Unreasonable, to say the least."

Anon shook his head.

"Bah, I don't blame you anyhow. No use in crying over spilt milk when it has already gone sour."

"I see." She smiled warmly. "Thank you."

Sometimes I forget how hot Glynda actually is. She should smile more often.

She looked outside the window.

"We're arriving."

"Already? That was fast."

Beacon came into view and it did not disappoint. Anon was reminded of Ruby's reaction during The Shining Beacon.

"Yeah, her reaction was warranted."

"I remember gawking at the size of Beacon when I first joined." Glynda smiled with nostalgia. "I remember there were those rowdy siblings, they were causing a scene and their first day hadn't even started."

"I don't want to assume, but are you talking about the Branwens?"

Glynda raised an eyebrow.

"You know them?"

He leaned back into his seat.

"I know about them, about their... Predicament? I guess you could call it?"

The craft shook as it landed, an automated voice rang out.

"Welcome to Beacon, please disembark the bullhead in a calm and ordered fashion."

Anon swung himself to his feet.

"Welp, let's not make him wait more than we already did."

Once he stepped out, Anon couldn't help but gawk at Beacon's majesty.
