Johnathan (Schlatt) has been very distant and rude towards me for that past moth or two. I'm scared that he's loosing feelings for me. We've been married for 3 years and are planning on starting a family soon, even though we're only in our 20s.
Johnathan walked into the house at around 11pm from his night shift. "Hey honey, how was work?" I asked him with a weak smile. He let out a soft grunt and walked upstairs. I lowered my head, my heart sinking a bit. 'How come he's so distant..?' I thought to myself. I brushed it off thinking he probably had a bad day. I headed upstairs and knocked on our shared bedroom's door. "Come in." I heard a faint voice say. I opened the door slightly, making sure it was safe to fully walk through. After making sure I was good, I walked into the room and gently sat on our bed. Johnathan walked out of the bathroom and sat in my office chair. "How come you've been so distant?" I muttered. Johnathan's head shot up and looked in my eyes. "What do you mean? I haven't been distant," he began, "we're always spending time together." I shook my head. Johnathan looked at me with an annoyed look. "Can we please just spend time together as a happy couple?" I asked, my voice a bit shaky. "Can you stop being so fucking needy?" He shot back. A sharp pain arose in my heart, I looked up at him. "What..?" I asked. "You're so fucking clingy, you know that?" Johnathan stated. I felt tears form in my eyes. "And you always need me by your side," he rambled on, "I can't always be there for you, learn how to care for yourself." He stood up quickly. "I'm sleeping in the quest room, I can't share a bed with you," he said, "stupid bitch." He mumbled the last part and I felt the tears that stayed in my eyes rush down. How could he something like that to his own wife??
I got ready for bed and slipped under the covers, still thinking about what Johnathan said.
