Tea

Sigh..
I paced around on the Dawn Winery floorboards. I had too many thoughts on my mind to focus on a single one.

"Master Diluc, you seem quite worried. May we be of any assistance to you?" A maid had suddenly walked up to me.
"No, it's fine. Just get me a cup of tea." I let out a big sigh.

I could tell that the maids knew I was frustrated these days. I sure hoped they didn't know why, though..

"Understood. We will have it prepared with sweet flowers, as per usual." The maid smiled, signaling to her sisters to come along as they disappeared into another room.

I returned to my chambers. I decided to take out my journal from a dusty, unused drawer. I needed to write down these thoughts.

These days.. I have been romantically frustrated.
It is indeed, mind boggling. I have never felt such shameless thoughts. It feels humiliating. All I ever think of now is a chance to find true love. Though, that is impossible. Impossible for Diluc Ragnvindr. But.. It would certainly be nice.

did not get to finish writing down the mess of my brain in my journal as the maids walked in.

"We have prepared your tea with sweet flowers, and a side of biscuits. Please do enjoy, Master Diluc."

"Thank you. Will do." I replied.
I waited for the maids to walk out before I finished up my last sentence. I continued to drink my tea as I stared outside the window of my chambers. It seems that it was "golden hour". What a sight to bestow..

After I had finished my tea and biscuits, I returned them to the maids and continued on with paperworks in my office. I was exhausted but keeping the business - my father's, per say, alive was my duty.

I was getting cramps from all the signing I had to do. Exhausting work, as always. I felt drowsy, though. My eyes closed before I could even finish..
