Chapter 2: Meeting Other Wonders

"Who is that Rika!?"

"She's the reason i'm dead, my wonder killer... Dot. She showed me.

"The fear of death."

To you cracking a wonder egg fills you with fear, because you know one moment from now you'll be running from a creature trying to kill you and the wonder and that will all lead up to you facing trauma. But saving girls and people in the eggs and and fixing what they went through makes you happy and maybe gets rid of some of... your trauma.

"Poof"

Its month x, day o and you headed to the garden to buy another egg from acca and ura-acca and cracked it open in your dream. This time when cracking the egg, the girl laying on the floor from the egg was rather short with a pink stripe in her hair and looked rather pretty. I stood back to let her stand up. wile she was standing up she had a faint look in her eyes of torment. She looked unnerved like she wasn't supposed to be here.

In a silent angered voice she muttered "so they really did replace us, but why would they bring us back. To experience this torment?"

She looked up at me

 "Oh hi, my name's Rika Kawai. Kawai like Kawaii because i'm so cute. I was a wonder egg hunter just like you, until i died of course"

"But how did you die?"

"..."

"Rika?"

"crash"

"dang it looks like its already here, come on lets run"

These wonder egg hunters never seem to explain how they died, oh well. while running I summoned my weapon and quickly turned back to look down the hall way and to try and deal some damage on it. But when i looked my eyes looked stund I have faced other wonders but this one was rather normal. That wonder killer looked like a student no, it was different it could fly at an immense speed and had a dragon fly head that when looking at was tormenting.

"hehe, why are you running, dot isn't gonna hurt you"

She swung a giant metal ball towards us being able to destroy the ground lifting it up into the air

"damn that thing"

"who is she?"

"Her name is Dot someone you may meet in the future, she was the reason i killed myself. She showed me... the fear of death"

The fear of death, what does that mean I thought. well the best i can do is deal some damage towards it. I jumped ahead to try and attack it but my moves had no effect, it was too powerful.

"Acca, Ura-acca you can hear me right what do I do, my effects arn't working" you said

"acca? Ura-acca?"

They weren't responding but why, was there something wrong. There was only one possibility, I had to keep this girl alive until the bell rung and she returned to the egg. So hide, protect and what ever else don't get killed.
