This is why you should never ask for a reading on a very special day.
On a very special day, a man went to a fortune teller for a reading that his wife had recommended visiting. The old lady there told him to take a seat across from her. She then did the man's reading and was shocked. Her eyes widened in horror as she looked at the man in front of her. "Your wife has cheated on you with another man."
Furious, he went to his house later that night and killed his own wife.
On April the second when he was taken to court as he explained what the fortune teller had told him. The judge looked around the room before saying something the man was shocked to hear.
"Sir, that was an April fool's joke. You're wife planned it with her grandmother."
It was later explained that his wife's grandmother came to town on April fool's. But what she didn't know, was that the joke would be the last time, she would ever see her granddaughter again.
