Chapter 3 - Y/N pov
I updated this chapter from when I initially posted. Fixing grammatical errors and adding a few extra paragraphs to portray the story as I imagined it. Hopefully you all will enjoy it better this way :) Last updated: Thursday, March 25. 2021.
Chip Chirp!
Damn birds... always so loud in the morning, but this pillow is so warm and nice I just wanna sleep forever.
I hear snoring from above my head, a breath tickles my forehead. My head feels like it's rising and falling. I blink my eyes open against the harsh sunlight and in my wake I see Armin sound asleep, and his chest a pillow for my head.
Butterflies form in my stomach as I push myself off his chest quietly, trying not to wake him up. A smile begins to form on my face.
He looks so peaceful and soft when he's asleep.
I sigh while I take in his attractive appearance.
I remember having a wet dream of him last night... rather embarrassing considering how eventful it was last night.
Armin groans in his throats before he wakes up.
"Good morning, Armin." I say, smiling down at him while I kneel at his side.
"Good morning... beautiful." His voice is low and groggy.
I feel my face begin to warm up at his words, making me blush like some highschool girl, then a smile forms on my face.
Hearing him call me beautiful feels familiar for some reason. Then I notice that my mouth tastes salty and my throat feels dry... I clear my throat, hoping to coat it wet.
Maybe I'm dehydrated. I need some water...
Armin pulls his forearm over his eyes to block out the sunlight from his sight.
"Do you remember anything from last night?" He asks, shifting his head towards me.
Is he talking about when he saw me practically naked on his washroom floor last night?
"Oh- ummm... All I remember is taking a shower and going to sleep. That's all!" I turn my head away, blushing off to the side.
Armin chuckles under his breath then pushes himself up to sit his back against the wall.
I turn to face him again, he's glistening in the sunlight as he stares off out at the window. His blue eyes glow under those long lashes of his and he smiles softly, as if he's remembering something that makes him happy.
If you weren't so confusing I think I would ask for your hand in marriage right now.
Armin turns his head to face me.
"Don't worry. I didn't see anything." He winks at me and my arms shoot upwards shyly.
Armin kicks his feet out the bed and walks towards the washroom as I watch him with wonder.
"You can join me if you want?" He smirks at me.
"I- uh... umm, that's-" I stutter at his offer.
"I'm just teasing. I'll be out a bit then we can have some breakfast." He says before he closes the washroom door behind him. Then I hear the shower head running water, muffled behind closed doors.
Charming, handsome, confusing... he is so many things!
While grabbing my phone from the nightstand, I kick my feet out the bed and check the time and my messages. It's Saturday 7:58 am.
