Chapter 7 - Y/N pov
Hey guys! Here is chapter 7 and I tried to make it longer to make up for the last chapter. Anyways, I've been listening to Drivers License on repeat while writing because honestly I think it fits this chapter so well, and I recommend you listen to it while reading for better experience. Enjoy! <3
It's been a week since I last saw Annie and Armin.
A long gloomy and sad week where I can't get my mind off Armin.
Was I too naïve? Was I just a game to him? I truly cared... was I the fool? In the end he chose her over me. No surprise there.
It's fine... I'm used to being second choice to someone I actually liked. In the end I'm always the one who's hurt.
She's a different one, Annie. I wonder what her goal was, taking care of me that night.
A week ago I asked Historia to take me to the Scout's House so I could talk to Jean but the time we got back to our dorms I changed my mind. I honestly don't know why I wanted to see Jean that day, maybe it was because he was the only other guy I knew who was from the Scout's House.
Jean had called me that day, telling me that we should meet up a week later and here we are... a week later. He said there was something important that he wanted to talk to me about, so I guess our plans aligned.
It sucks... falling for a guy I knew from the start that I'm not right for, but I fell anyway because I thought he might turn out to be different.
I told Historia about everything (leaving out some explicit details) that went down last weekend, and as expected she was surprised at me and the events that went down.
She was always someone I could count on, never failed to put a smile on my face or cheer me up. Historia is just amazing like that.
It's Saturday today and I'm supposed to meet Jean at the Scout House at 8:30 pm. It's currently 12 ish right now, so I have about 8 hours to spare.
I'm just sitting on my bed right now, staring at the laptop screen on my lap. Watching movies... which oddly enough reminds me of the time Armin and I watched movies together.
Historia opens the door to my room, her face showing the same excited expression that we all know and love.
"Hey babes! It's lunch time, wanna go out?" She asks.
"Sure, let's go back to Hange's Boba restaurant." I suggest as I close my laptop and kick my feet off the bed.
"Alrighty! Lemme just grab my purse."
30 sum minutes passed and Historia and I made our way back to Hange's Boba.
The familiar place brought back some unpleasant memories but I just sucked it up, pushing those memories away. Deep into the back of my mind.
Historia and I sat ourselves by the end of the long bar counter and there I saw a familiar blonde male. The bartender from last weekend.
He waves at us and makes his way to our direction.
"Hi, I'm Niccolo. I'll be your waiter for today! What can I get for you ladies?" The bartender introduces himself.
I glance at Historia who seems to be eyeing at the fruity drinks on the menu.
"Historia, go ahead order whatever you want. I'll be the DD today." I offer, wanting to give Historia the chance to drink since she always ends up being the designated driver.
"Aww, really? Thank you so much, babes!" She beams, her happy tunes always recognizable in her voice. "I'll get the Marleyan Crab Puff Special and a Bahama Mama drink, please and thank you!"
