Back Again

Zane's POV

"For the last time, that's not true." Cole giggled. "Sureeeee, totally didn't steal all the cake batter." I joked. It wasn't bad, but we had a party coming up and we needed a cake as everyone was expecting one. "Could you go get some more batter, everyone is expecting a cake." I smiled. "Sure!" Cole nodded and off he went.

If you are a little confused on what's happening let me fill you in. The day of departed was coming up and our families were gathering together to hang out for a bit and tell small stories of loved ones and how they helped out. To honor them for everything they did to help out. It was gonna be fun and a relaxing time. What else could I say? We all couldn't wait.

I heard a loud crash and ran to see what was going on. I see Kai covered in boxes. "You ok?" I say, holding back my laugh. "Yeah, just got a blanket of boxes on me!" Kai said, getting up, we heard Lloyd laugh and I chuckled a bit. "Sensei wants to see us. So hurry up." Lloyd said between laughs. We nodded and headed outside. Sensei Wu was standing there, Misako on his left, Garmadon on his right. Cole had just made it back and was now standing in like with Nya and Jay. We joined in the line and stood still. "Morning Sensei!" We all said in sync. "Hello, Ninja. Today is gonna be a little different." Wu walked up and down the line. We were all confused. "Sensei, what will be different?" Kai looked at Wu confusedly until he saw a girl. His jaw clearly dropped in shock as he knew who it was. The girl waved shyly and kept her face mask up. She didn't seem familiar but I could tell Nya knew who she was as well.

She looked a lot like Kai just a female version. Kai and Nya didn't know how to react until Kai broke the line, running towards the girl and pulling her into a hug. "Your alive!" He sounded as if he was gonna cry. "Hi Kai." The girl smiled weakly. Kai let go and she wiped his eyes as Nya almost tackled her, crying. "Nya! Breathe kiddo!" The girl giggled, hugging Nya tightly. "Sensei, who is this?" Jay questioned. "That is Kai and Nya's older sister." Wu responded. "My name is Kiren. It's nice to meet you all!" Kiren smiled. She had hair like Nya but the under layer of her hair was crimson red. She pulled her mask down to reveal a scar on her bottom lip. She also had a small scar on her lower eyelid as well. She was shorter than Kai but taller than Nya. "You've grown so much!" Kiren pinched Kai and Nya's cheek. She had a baggy hoodie on, assuming it was Kai's before he left to become a ninja and save Nya. She seemed pretty skinny from what I was analyzing but she was fit. 

She had amber eyes, soft silk milk chocolate brown skin, and a pretty slim body. She was fierce though. She looked like the type to death glare you if you hurt her siblings. But she was actually very sweet. She had brought some chocolate chip cookies as a thank you gift for us having her on the team. She also seemed to know Sensei very well. They greeted each other with respect and she greeted us with respect as well, She bowed politely, "Nice to meet you guys. I hope we get along well and I can't wait to help you guys out." We introduced ourselves and she smiled, Kai and Nya were more glad that she was alive and safe. Just then we felt the ground shake, the others and I hopped up onto the walls of the Monastery and looked down at New Ninjago City to see smoke, while Kiren looked through the door with Misako, Garmadon, and Wu.

"Let's go, team!" We flipped our masks up and summoned our dragons, flying off. We made it there and hopped down. Kiren's GI looked cool, It was Crimson but looked more Phantom-ish. We looked at the huge hole in the ground and boy, were we confused. "Sky pirates?" Kai thought. "That would be too obvious. This doesn't look like it was lifted, It looks blown up." Kiren wandered over to the hole. She backed up instantly seeing Venge stone and something else. I looked and my eyes widened. "Oh no." Kiren sighed. Not again...
