Just as preston was grabbing his last few boxes of clothes from his dorm room his phone started ringing, to which he checked the contact name. 'mom?' Preston picked up his phone and hit the accept call button. "what now do you want? I'm hurrying lady." he'd roll his eyes squeezing his phone between his shoulder and head to reach his ear. "You better watch that tone young man. Anyways, I was wondering if you would bring over your girlfriend, Since you said you have one, I want to meet her." Preston blinked repeatedly "Mom I told you months ago we broke up already, Me and Silvia are done, a lost cause." - " Yes I know you told me months ago, poor girl- but anyways, don't you have a new one already?" - "Wow mom way to make me sound like some sort of player or male hooker type thing." - " I don't mean it like that and you know that. I was just assuming you would have a new girlfriend by now." - "well I don't bye mom-" -"wait, my co worker Nicole has a daughter, I believe she's adopted though- How about I ask her if its okay for me to set you two up on a date?" - "Sure whatever I don't care, I have to go now, Parker (one of preston's random friends-) is dropping me off. The school will drop off anything big otherwise. Bye mom, Love you i guess." He'd hang up the phone setting it back in his pocket, he'd walk over to Parkers car putting the last few boxes in the back trunk. He'd open the passenger car door taking a seat.

"Thanks for dropping me off" - " Its no problem dude, anyways what took so long?" - "My mom called and decided to butt her head into my love life, since I told her about me and Silvia." He'd look out the window leaning on the door as Parker drove. "That sucks man, say, whats going on with silvia now? Didn't you two agree to stay friends?" - "yeah, something like that. I doubt she fully forgives me for all that I caused, her friend karla for sure would never let me around her again." - "Aw that sucks man, thats why you should just start hooking up with random chicks, get your mind off her, Works like a charm" Parker would turn onto Prestons street pulling into the driveway. "No way, that might work for you but I'm not into that kind of thing, I actually like the relationship part not just to get into her pants. " He'd open the door stepping out while grabbing his boxes out. "True true, all right man I'll leave you to it then, lemme know if anything happens with the new chick tonight." - "Yeah yeah, thanks man for the ride. Cya next week. " - " Alright bye man" Parker would drive off leaving preston to take his stuff inside.

--Later that night--

Preston's POV

Prestons mom entered Prestons room "Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes Nicole and her daughter are on their way." Preston stood up off his bed and walked with his mom downstairs. He'd sit down on the couch scrolling through twitter checking on how his friends are doing, probably having more fun than him. Finally a Knock was heard at the door so Mrs Harris opened it "Thanks for coming Nicole, and?" - "Karla." - 'karla? goD I'm an idiot Of cOUrsE it haS tO bE thAt kARla' - "well its nice to meet you Karla, I'm mrs Harris, well anyways come in food should be done in about 15-20 minutes" She'd close the door behind them, "Preston should be over on the couch, Let me know if you ladies need anything.

karla would walk over to me on the couch and would sit down slouching " I officially hate this even more now." She'd turn to me " I mean, atleast you look nice, quit dwelling on bad things like always. I don't understand You and Silvia's friends, You're all losers. " - " I mean, I'm better than them anyways, I'm just glad Silvia caught on, and hey I don't have to be your little servant anymore that was hella annoying, just like looking at your face for too long." She'd look away smiling to herself. "Of course You'd think that, but look at who actually got to date her, oh wait, that was me." - "If you didn't want to come why did you agree to? could of just told your mom no. " she'd look back at me " I didn't really get a choice Silvia is out tonight so she wanted me and her to do something fun tonight and your mom just so have happened to invite us over, I'm only here for the free food, I heard your mom was a chef and a good cook. So don't think this would turn into anything." - "Not like I was planning for it to, i would never date you, even if you were the last girl on earth I would rather date another man." - " Can't say i wouldn't do the same. Lets just get through this stupid dinner." - " I never want to come back for Dinner at the Harris house if that means you're here." She'd roll her eyes walking into the kitchen with me following after. Let this stupid set up begin.
