"And that's how I ended up here."

Wei WuXian put on a serious face and blew the last candle.

The room was dark and silent, no one spoke there, until the alarm clock rang so loud and made Wei WuXian flinch.

"Fuck! It's already morning! I need to make breakfast for gege!"

Wei WuXian stood up and turned on the lamp. He quickly put on his red jacket.

"Hey, you haven't finished your story yet! What about that gege you live with?"

"Later, Sang! I will tell you later, okay? I need to go now or else gege will get worried!"

"Okay. See me at home tomorrow, then!"

Wei WuXian waved to Nie HuaiSang, his new neighbor, who lived alone with his brother, Nie MingJue. But because his brother often went out for business, Wei WuXian often stayed for the night there.

HuaiSang was his first friend in this new country. They soon became friends in only a few days.

WuXian opened the door and closed it with a bang, leaving HuaiSang chuckled to see the flustered WuXian.

"Gege! Wake up! It's morning already!"

Xiao XingChen yawned as he stretched his body.

"A-Ying, I'm still sleepy. The baby took all of my energy..."

"Nonsense! Come on, wake up and wash your face. I need to go to uni soon. It's freshman orientation today."

"... Hmmmm... Alright... Do you need me to take you to uni?"

"No need. Look at your tummy, ge! It's already that big and you wanna drive looking like that? The doctor said to prepare for the labor, right? The due date is next week."

Xiao XingChen chuckled. He patted Wei WuXian's head softly.

"Good A-Ying. Thank you for your concern."

"Stop it, gege."

Wei WuXian chuckled as well.

"I'm not a kid anymore!"

"Really? For me, you'd always be my little brother."

Xiao XingChen laughed. Wei WuXian blushed then hurried to the kitchen.

He prepared the breakfast fast and asked Xiao XingChen to walk slowly to the dining room connected to the kitchen, and let him sit down.

"Eat well. Ah, you should close the shop for today and take some rest. I'm going now."

Wei WuXian kissed XingChen's cheek.

"Call me if you need something."

Xiao XingChen waved to Wei WuXian lovingly. He loved his didi so much that he wanted to stalk him to see his first day as a college student. Xiao XingChen smiled then went to wash the dishes.

"I hope he won't get into trouble on his very first day."

"Welcome to our University of Gusu, freshmen." A man with a gentle smile stepped up on the podium to deliver his greeting. He has long straight black hair which was combed neatly.

"My name is Lan XiChen, the head of the Department of Music. It's a nice day to start our freshman orientation today."

Wei WuXian was looking around to see how big this University was.
