🦋 chaper 6 🦋

That night I put on a cute dress I bought with Peter. He may be a man, but he has a fantasic taste. It is revealing, but not to much. Just enough to make you wonder. I walk into the livingroom. I am wearing my hair down and wear highheals.

'You don't need to hide your scars', a voice says behind me. 

I turn around and stare in the green eyes of Natasha. I swollow, feeling the butterflies coming up.

'Let me', she says.

She turns me around and I feel her warm hands. She takes the hair of my sholders and wraps it together into a low Ponytail. She leaves her hands on me and I turn around.

'Thank you', I bring out.

She smiles when she sees how nervous I am. She lets go of me when we hear a voice.

'You have to go otherwise you will be late', Tony says.

I walk into the elevator without saying anything.

I walk to the restaurant Tony told me to go. 

'On witch name?' they ask.

'Stark', I say.

She points to a table where a beautiful woman sits. I laugh. Tony knew. She is wearing a revealing dress what makes me wonder. Just what I wanted with my dress. She is tall and has a beautiful body. She smiles at me when I sit down.

'Y/N?' she asks.

'Yes and you are?' I ask.

'Right the blinddates. Tony told me', she says. 'I am Vera'.

'Beautiful'.

'Thank you. I like your outfit', she says while looking at my scars.

What makes me think about Natasha. She sees my face change and  takes her hair from her shoulders. They are full of scars.

'S.H.I.E.L.D', I say.

She nods. This could be good. This could be a promising night. We talk for hours over the places we have been. How we ended up where we are now. When we are done I follow her. She takes my through the city. We reach a gaybar and she takes me in it is beautiful. We party and I drink way to much. My crush for Natasha disapears for the rest of the night. 

I wake up in my bed with a massive headache. 

'Fun night?' Natasha asks standing in the door opening. 

'Yeah', I bring out.

'Who was he?' she asks.

'Her name was Vera', I tell her.

Her face changes when I say that it was a her.

'Tony knows?' she asks.

'Yeah and I didn't even need to tell him', I say, but when I look up I see no one anymore and I fall asleep again.

I wake up when the sun goes down already. I walk to the livingroom there are Peter and Tony and Clint. When I see Tony I give him a big smile.

'You had fun hadn't you?' he asks pointing at my neck.

I walk to the mirror and see a hickey.

'Did Vera do that?' Peter asks.

I sight.

'I don't remember', I say honesly.

Peter burst out in laughing. 

Clint and Tony look him weird up and down. They of course don't know of my crush for Natasha and then I remember last night. Vera didn't give the hickey. Natasha did. I try to remember more, but everything is fage. I run out without saying a word. I run to my bathroom splating my face with water and covering the hickey.

'Meeting in 10 min', Jarvis says.

'Thank you', I say.

Should I tell Natasha that I rememberd or would it become weird between us? I choose to ignore it. There even was a change that I just imagined everything maybe it was Vera. I walk to the meeting room and I am the first. I sit down thinking of Natasha. Then Everyone else walks in. They all sit and Fury walks in.

'There is coming up a big mission. I will need Bruce, Bucky, Vision and Steve', he says.

'Okay and when will that be?' Tony asks.

I don't listen to what they have to say more. I zone out. I think about Natasha and the hickey. How it would be if I told her that I remember and what it would be like if we were a thing. If we did things. 

What I don't notice when I am zoned out is what happens beside me.

'Y/ N!' Fury says. 'What is more inportant to zone out about than a mission?'

Of course I don't respond.

'Wanda', Fury says.

'On it', she says.

She reads my mind and sees what I see. The thing I want to do with Natasha. The hickey she gave me. Wanda gets out the moment she sees what I am thinking of.

'And?' Fury asks.

'Nothing she just zonded out', she lies.

I am back again and see everyone watching. Fury continues like nothing happend. This time I listen.

'You guys became better since Y/N Jones has been here', He says. 'That is why she is becoming an avenger', he continues.

I open my mouth to say something, but Fury talks over me.

'That is not a choices', he says facing me.

The son of a bitch. 

'You can't just dicide that for me', I say.

Now they all look at me. I can't read Fury's face.

'I can. You work for me you do what I say. If you don't I will make sure you end up like how you had it 5 years ago', he tels me.

'You wouldn't', I say.

'Do you want to find out?' he says menacingly.

I stay put and stay silent the rest of the meeting. He had promised me and he broke it. The moment it is over I run to my room slamming the door behind me. He broke his promise. I hear a knock on the door and Tony comes in. I am laying on my bed and sit up.

'Vera called she wanted to meet again', he says.

I am glad he is not her to talk to me about Fury or something like that. Should I go to Vera. I could use a distraction in any kind.

'Thanks where can I meet her?' I ask.

'About that. She is coming here', he says. 'Tonight. Eating dinner with us'.

'You did what?' I ask.

He doesn't answer and walks to the door.

'Welcome to the team', he says while closing me door.
