(Y/n's pov )

I pull up into a parking space at my apartment complex, turn off my car, and i then step out of my car. Its quite foggy tonight, the moonlight can't penetrate through this fog, and the sudden realization that it will be harder for adam to get out my car because of all the fog. I huff softly to myself, and i conclude that i could possibly wake adam up. I walk to his side, open the door, and i pat his cheeks.
*pat pat*
"Adam."
Adam fliches, and then his eyes open.
"Mmm?" Adam sleepily bats his eyes, and he yawns softly. "Where are we?" He asks as he starts to stretch his arms and groan.
"My place." I tell him, and i brush some hair out if his face, and i then then sit him up. 
"Unbuckle your seatbelt, and I'll help you out."
"Y/n," adam drunkingly slurred as he pushed my arms away. "I'mmmm fine! I szzzzwear, *hic* I'm okay."

Y/n shrugged and stepped out of adam's way. And as soon as she did, he tried to step out of the car, only to trip and nearly fall. He caught himself in time, but seeing him stumble was quite amusing.

(Y/n's p.o.v)
"Hah! Dumbass." I say as i laughed at adam. I then helped him stand up properly and i shut the door to my car, and lock the car. "Lets just get upstairs and, get you to rest.." Adam only groaned softly and nodded in response, then held onto me while i led him up the stairs and to my door. I let go of him and fumbled with my keys, then i stop.
I start thinking to myself:
"SHIT!!! I didn't think about this fully! Adam will see tori, and tori doesn't even know adam!"
Somehow, i started to turn the key in the lock when i found my key.
"Wait, he's shitfaced. Adam's not gonna remember anything. But I'll still take tori to a different room so adam won't see her."
I sigh in relief after re assuring myself then i push open the door.

(No one's p.o.v)

Y/n turns on the hall light, steps in before adam and frantically looks around for tori anywhere. Tori is no where to be seen in the living room, and y/n opens their mouth to whisper for tori, only to be interrupted by the sound of the front door. Y/n turns around and sees adam stumbling into the living room, then y/n swoops in, and catches him before he falls onto a coffee table.
"Here," y/n says as she leads adam to her couch.
"Lie down." Y/n sets adam down on her couch, and lies him down. Adam obeyed, smiled up at y/n. Y/n quickly sat down on the couch, lifted one of Adam's leg and took a shoe off and sat it down on the floor near the couch. She then took off the other one, and "You're so good to me y/n..." Adam's blue eyes meet y/n's one last time before fluttering shut and he gets comfortable. Y/n feels her face heat up a little, then she smiles and gets up carefully from the couch.

(Y/n's p.o.v)
I turned to look back at adam one last time to check if he's asleep, and seeing him slumped on my couch made my heart warm up a little. But that feeling went away extremely quickly when i got a feeling in my gut.
"Fuck... tori!" I mutter to myself, before stealthily sneaking to the hallway and open one of the doors and to the "storage" room.
"Tori?" I softly call out while i step over a pile of book. I turn to my right, and i see tori wrapped up in a blanket, lying on her side. Taken aback and a little worried because she didn't respond to me, i call her name again and i approached her slowly.
"T-tori?"
Tori's catlike ears fold back, and i can see her tail swish under the blanket. I flinched back, until i heard "sniffling" from her.
"Tori... a-are you okay?"
Tori turns her head to look at me, and the one thing that was very noticeable were the tear stains on her cheeks. Her eyes were still full of tears, but more importantly, just the look in her eyes and the sadness that was in those eyes.
"Aww, tori..."
tori turned her head away, and she went back to pouting under the blanket. I stayed silent for a couple of seconds before i sat down before her, and then slowly made my hand towards her back. I hesitated for a couple of seconds, before resting my hand gently on her back. Tori's back flinched, and then she turned her head to face me again with her sad eyes. "Hey,... tori, why are you crying?.." i asked while i keep my hand on her back, before she moves and then sits up. She sniffles and wipes a tear away from her cheek, then looks up at me, her ears still folded back. "I,.. I thought you deserted me..." a tear rolls down tori's cheek again. I felt as if a knife stabbed me in the heart when tori said that, then guilt started to fill me. "Tori..." I softly say, then i scoot closer, and open my arms, suggesting embracing. Tori watched me do so, and she didn't move. I then move closer, and pull her into a hug, making sure i held her close to me, and i can tell she was surprised from my gesture. She sniffles and then buried her face in my shoulder, and i could feel her tail wrap around my waist. "Tori.." i began softly, "i would never do that. I found you, and I promised to myself and I promise you that i wouldn't throw you away like your last owner.." Tori was quivering in my arms when she heard those words, and then she slowly held onto me back, her hands resting on the back of my shoulders. I sigh softly when i feel her soft embrace, happy with myself that she did so, and that maybe she trusts me. Then, i feel her sniff my neck, then she moves her face back my shoulder and sniffed again. Then she looked up at me, and tilts her head.
"Who's he?" She asked. "He?" I questioned back, and then i remember. "Oh... yeah.. he's a friend of mine." I said, and then i moved a chunk of hair out of tori's face. "Was he the urgent thing?" Tori questioned, and she looked at me again, her eyes no longer sorrow filled, but just full of curiosity; It was kinda cute though. "He's just a friend of mine that I've known for a while now, he just really needed me last night. I feel bad for him sometimes.." tori nodded while she listened. "He's here by the way, just,.. make sure not to uh, uhm.. y-you know, reveal yourself around him." Tori smiled, and then tucked her ears underneath her hair, and grabbed her tail, and tuck it down her pants. It amazed me how she so quickly did that, and now she looks completely well, human like. "Woah.." Tori giggled at my response, and then she stood up, then helped me up with her as she stood up. "Yeah, i can do that once on a while, but not a whole lot because it can damage my ears." I reach over, then i start to rub her head, then i untuck her ear out of her hair, and i start to gently rub it. Once i did so, tori's head tilted to the side, she closes her eyes, and she starts purring. "Awww.." with both hands, i start to gently play with her ears, hair, and cheeks. Her black hair is so smooth, long, and straight. Her cat like ears, soft like actual cat fur, and the skin on her cheeks were soft, yet so delicate.
"Hey... lets leave the storage room, okay? I'm not letting you sleep in here." I pick up the blanket off the floor, and i start heading towards the door, and i turn to look at tori. "Well? C'mon." Tori hesitated, then she nodded. "Oh.. alright." Tori said as she gave in, and followed right behind me. I open the door slowly, peek my head around the corner of the hallway, and step out. Making sure adam was still passed out on my couch, i then put the blanket over tori, and lead her carefully to my room, past sleeping adam, then finally into my room. I carefully shut the door behind us, and i lock it. I take the blanket off tori, and pet her ears again. She smiled, leaned her head up against my hand, and purred. I couldn't help but just smile to that, then i pat her head and stop.
"We should get some rest, and i need to, well.. take adam home in the morning." I said, and then patted my bed. "You can lie down here, I'll take the floor."

(No one's p.o.v)

Tori looks at y/n's bed, and then at y/n.
"Are you... are you really sure, m-..."
Tori closes her eyes, takes a small breath in and fixes her sentence. "Are you, really sure y/n?"
Y/n nodded in response, and then she walks to her bathroom that is inside her room, and takes off her shirt. She throws it outside her bathroom, then quickly closed and locked the bathroom door, just leaving her top there outside her bathroom. Tori looked around, then snuck close to the door, picked up the top, and then smelled it. She only took a quick whiff and first, and then got completely disgusted because she expected to smell the strong scent of y/n, but instead she smells the scent of this, "adam" guy. As soon as she got a good smell of him, his scent made the hair on the back of her neck immediately stick up, and so does the fur on her tail. Her pupils became slitted and her ears fold back again. Whatever adam smells like, tori did NOT like one bit, and to top it all off, she feels jealous a little. Jealousy fills her even more when she thinks about how y/n and "adam" were with each other for such a long time, and was the reason why tori was upset. She slowly sets the shirt back down, and then sits down on y/n's bed, crosses her legs, and waits patiently for y/n to leave the bathroom.

(Tori's p.o.v)
The scent from y/n's shirt still lingers in my nostrils, and its making me despise the smell even more. A few minutes go by, and i see y/n leave her bathroom. She's wearing an oversized shirt, shorts, her hair down and her makeup wiped off. Y/n picks her top off the floor, then tosses me a fresh and new t-shirt. I know its fresh because it smells strongly of y/n, and detergent. I feel my tail swish around happily when i smell the scent, then i hold the top close to me. "Thank you y/n..." i said quietly and i can feel myself getting... "hot?" Y/n smiles at me, and then she starts to lie down on the floor, but I can't help but feel guilty.. I'm just s neko, and she's a human that owns her place. It doesn't feel right that y/n wants me to sleep on her bed, and y/n sleeps on the floor..
"But, y-y/n.." i began, but y/n cut me off.
"Tori. I insist. I'm not letting you sleep on the floor."
I simply sighed, and obeyed. I climbed onto the bed, and put the shirt y/n gave me on, and i took off the old one underneath it, and put it aside.
Y/n smiles her kind smiles at me, and she sat down on the floor, making her sleeping spot comfortable.
"There, now.. sleep well tori." Y/n reaches over to the bedroom light and switches it off. I cuddle underneath y/n's covers on her bed, and the scent of her is everywhere now. I can't help but feel both flustered and extremely grateful for y/n.. i peek over the edge of the bed to the side of the room where y/n is sleeping on the floor. Y/n's eyes are already closed, and she's cuddled underneath the blanket too. I couldn't help but stare in awe at her beauty, and i can feel cheeks heat up for some reason. A warm feeling engulfs me, and i can feel my heart beating a little faster.. i look away, and i lie down on my side, facing away from y/n, but my heart is still beating the same pace.. i grab a pillow off of y/n's bed, and cuddle it. I pretend its her, and i nuzzle my face against it, catching another big whiff of her natural scent on the pillow. My blush returns, and i start purring very gently.
"Goodnight... y/n"
I whispered softly, but y/n didn't respond, proving to me Shes really asleep.
I close my eyes, and for once, i feel safe to sleep around another human..
