Neko history

(No ones p.o.v):

You stared down at the sleeping cat girl, and as you listened closely, you could hear her slightly purr in her sleep. You couldn't help but smile, and you put the bags of stuff down and bent down to pick her up.

(Y/n's p.o.v.): I set her down on the small couch that I have, luckily she can lie down on it properly without ruining her sleeping posture. While I was setting her down, her breathing sounded like she was unsettled, and she started to move her arms and legs about. The only thing that could come to mind to comfort her was to hum a lullaby that I've heard since I was a kid. It seemed to work, because she gently became limp in my arms, and I put her down. I then set down the warm blanket I got for her on top of her, and she instantly snuggled up in it.

Y/n: "hehe, how cute"

Y/n continued to admire tori more, the way she was snuggled up, the way her black cat ears twitched, and her body posture. Tori's body posture didn't look like she was comfortable, y/n couldn't really do much because she has bandaged up the poor girl, and those wounds seemed almost severe. But there was something about the way tori slept unsettled her, but she shook it off and thought to herself.

(Y/n's mind): if I'm going to have a neko in my house, the least I can do is research about them. It's been a while, but I'll see what I can do.

Y/n quietly pulled out her laptop and clicked to a private browser, from there, she searched up "neko s". Y/n scrolled down, and found an article that called to her:

              ~ The supposed history of nekos~
•it has been believed that nekos are a made-up creature that has been made long ago. Before the year 2020 and even after, there have been countless art, cosplays, anime, and much more containing these half cat, half human beings. In the year 2054, a picture of what looked like a sleeping humanized feline was uploaded on a popular website. The photo blew up the internet, and the internet demanded to know where and how this picture was taken, but unfortunately there were no answers for that. But 3 years later, it has been discovered that a unknown scientist has been experimenting with both human and animal dna. With further inspection, it's been rumored that he is the creator of this supposed, "neko". But He had also  made many horrible twisted creatures, and he has been arrested for animal abuse, but some say that some of his creations are still out there. There isn't full evidence that he has nekos, but there have been reports of humanoid half cat half human creatures caught on camera, rummaging through garbage, etc. now that we live in the year 3053, times have changed, and some people have forgotten about these creatures, some say they were never real, but we can never know.

No ones p.o.v :

After constant searching through the internet, y/n really couldn't find much more about nekos.

(Y/n's p.o.v) :

I simply close my laptop in frustration, and sat in the dark, and listen to Tori's soft breathing. I simply close my eyes and still listen

(Y/n's mind) :
"Wow. I expected more about nekos about the internet. I grew up with a lot of stories about them, one supposed story about if I don't behave, a neko will "snatch me" and "devour me". Yeah, hah. My parents did whatever they could to get me to behave. A lot of other stories i heard about nekos is that they're horribly scary creatures, and they could tear a person to shreds. But...."

Y/n turns to look at tori:

"I don't see anything scary about her at all..."

Tori's beautiful raven hair was shining under the pale moonlight, and she tossed in her sleep a little. One of her cat ears twitch, and she snuggles in the blanket y/n bought her. She looked adorable, then she stretched a little, and let out a little "mew"

I simply couldn't help but smile at that. I decide to get up, and walk quietly to my room, and leave the door cracked open. I walk over to my bed, and crawl underneath the cold covers. I lay there and look at the ceiling, before I close my eyes and drift off to sweet slumber
