A strange guardian

Chapter 1, A new Life

I woke up hearing and seeing something that I didn't understand. What I did see was a glowing orb in front of me looking right back at me. It looked scared and confused. Why? I tried to grab it but the orb dodged at my futile attempt. It spoke again but I didn't understand what was being said. But then it vanished in some smoke.

But I heard it again! I looked around frantically but I didn't see it. I then heard screams that seemed to have pierced my very mind. I then heard the orb saying something that I still didn't understand. I tried speaking to it in my language but if I can't understand it what will make it understand me? I still tried anyway... Nothing. I then heard it speak eliksni! It said, "good! I can finally talk to you. I'll explain everything in a couple of minutes but you have to worry about the hive that are coming to kill you!"

The hive? What are they? All I know is that they want to kill me. I'll need to defend myself. I picked up the shock blades that were next to me when I woke up. Why? I'll ask it later but right now I have to worry about "the hive". I get ready to do battle when I see seven tiny, thin, and bone-like creatures and another with a sword and thick armor running towards me. I raise up my swords, yell out a warcry, and run to kill these "hive". 

While I sprinted towards these ugly creatures, I noticed a figure in my peripheral vision. No matter, right now I have other things to worry about. I swung my blades at the hive that were already upon me. With both swords I managed to slice two tiny creatures in half horizontally. The other five begin to surround me, I don't let them get the chance. I charge towards one and with one of my lower arms I grab its head and then shove it into the ground. I suddenly felt many painful scratches on my back. I quickly turn around to see two bone-like creatures quickly lunging at me, I raise my arms in defense but the creatures then aimed towards my legs. I yell out in pain and anger, I quickly grab one of the creatures and proceeded to throw it at the other. I quickly kill the other two boney creatures. I then start to get up but then feel a shadow over me, I turn around to see the last creature bring down their sword towards my face and then everything went black.

So that was the first chapter in Ozyrikks' story! What did you guys think? I will accept any constructive criticism from you guys! I'll try to continue this with a semi-okay schedule. But both being a student, a swimmer, and a babysitter for my siblings will keep my options limited. I'll try to do my best though! See you guys in the next chapter!
