Ayvee Richardson

The movie had ended and the lights in the theater room had turned on. Everyone had already gotten their stuff and was heading out of the screened room. I was still sitting with Louis next to me. We weren't talking or doing anything just sitting in silence as everyone was leaving.
I turned to look at him. His eyes were shut. He had a calm expression on his face like he was meditating or something. I could see his eyelashes better when his eyes were closed so peacefully. They were pretty, long, and dark. Might be the prettiest eyelashes I've ever seen if I'm being honest.

"You ready to leave?" I whispered. He feathered his eyes open so I could see the deep blue. He looks at me calmly. A small smile playing on his lips.

"Mhm." He hummed quietly.

I get up slowly, grabbing my phone and putting it in my back pocket. He is still sitting and looking up at me. I held out my hand to help him up and he took it, slowly getting out of his seat like I had done. "You okay?" I whispered.

"Mhm." He hums. It was more perked up than the first time he's done it but something seemed off. He smiles a little and then actually uses words. "I love the feeling after movies." Is what he says.

"It feels different than before.... I like when things change." He smiles and turns around to walk down the stairs. I follow of course.
We walk down the steps till we get to the bottom and turn to a hallway out of the movie room. "You know I used to be friends with Harry right?" He breaks the silence catching me off guard.

"Really? You guys are so different." I reply in surprise.

"Yeah." He laughs a little as we are walking through the hallway close to the doors that lead to the parking lot.

"Like you are always kind of.. well no offense but a dick and Harry is really nice to everyone. I say.

"Mhm that's why we aren't friends anymore. He couldn't deal with my behavior." He turns to me walking slightly behind him and smirks.

"Behavior?" I question.

"The 'dick head' behavior." He sighs with a slight laugh.

"Oh right." I laugh. We walk out into the parking lot and that's when I realized how dark it was outside. "Wow it's late." I state.

"Perfect." He turns to me and grabs my hand. He then walks through the parked cars and passes by his own car. Confused, I speak up. "Hey you missed your car Louis." I tell him and he just smirks.

"We aren't going to my car baby."

"Uhm then where are we going?" My eyebrows furrowed.

"Pizza Hut."

"Oh okay." I say. I love pizza so how can I say no. "But that's not all." He smiles. What else are we doing? My dad would kill me for being out this late with a boy but he's not home for a week because of a work trip.

"Okay."

We still walk through the crowded parking lot of the movie theater we were once at. "So how long were you and Harry friends?" I ask trying to make some sort of conversation but I didn't really know him so how was I supposed to do that?

"Most of our life's actually." He answered.

"Really?" I was surprised.

"Yeah our parents we friends so we would hang out all the time in his backyard. I was there for him when his dad left and he was there for me when-" he cut himself off from what he was about to say. "When what?" I asked.

"Nothing never mind. He was just there for me through all of my problems. When we got older I changed and so did he. He was so fragile and I let him go." He finishes.
