No one can be sad if they're paid some respect time and again, whether or not it's obvious they deserve it. Yeah, you've heard it since forever, 'be nice,' but yeah, it's true, you should be nice, but more than that you should be friendly. You never know when someone'll remember something awesome you did for them and decide to pay you back, or do the same for you. Treat others as you want to be treated, and never look down on people, or belittle them. Catch yourself, it's not easy to see when you're doing it, especially if it's turned into a habit.
