We woke up and looked outside. I could see dark clouds and I checked on my phone and it was starting to hit us.
We got breakfast and brought our stuff into the basement.
Surprisingly this was a really big basement there were multiple rooms and even a bathroom.
Our parents were in the first one and me and Scott went into the second small room.
There was a 2 person bed and night stand with a TV and game console. There was also a beanbag.
It was pretty surprising all this was downstairs.
I put my bag down and sat on the bed.
I heard the storm start and we both sat down and hugged each other.
Scott and I weren't ready for what was to happen not even an hour later.
