Killer on the Loose

I was walking down the hall in school. I saw Alex standing outside of his locker.
Alex: "Good morning."
Me: "Good morning."
Alex: "Did you see the news?"
Me: "No why?"
Alex: "A girl in our grade was killed. Her name was Kayla Miller."
Me: "What?"
I was in shock and confusion.
Alex: "She had 13 wounds. They say the killer used a knife."
Me: "She was murdered? You don't think this could be-"
Alex: "-no a vamp would use a knife."
Me: "Are you sure?"
Alex: "We like to feed on them there would be marks."
I stood still in fear. Knowing that there's a killer that just murdered a girl my age. What was their intentions? Am I next?
Alex: "It's ok."
Me: "I'm fine."
Alex: "Your face is saying otherwise."
Me: "Can we just go to class now? I cant be late."
Alex: "Sure, but if you need me I'm only one phone call away."
Me: "I'll remember that."
The day then went on but I couldn't stop thinking about it. I wanted to bring justice for Kayla. Having the killer behind bars would make me feel a lot safer.
After school I decided that I wanted to find out more so I checked the news. Turns out she was killed in her bedroom.
After school ended I met up with Alex so we can go to Kayla's house. The goal was to ask her parents questions so we can find some clues. When we pulled up to the house there was some police cars parked outside.
I walked up to the door with Alex and knocked. Kayla's mom opened the door.
Ms. Miller: "Hi, who are you guys?"
Me: "I'm lily. Me and Kayla were friends in school and I wanted to see if you were ok."
Ms. Miller: "Come inside."
Me and Alex then followed Ms. Miller into her living room.
Alex: "I'm Alex, I was also friends with Kayla."
Me and Alex didn't even know Kayla so we lied.
Ms. Miller: "She never told me about you 2."
Me: "We were really just friends in school."
Ms. Miller: "Oh."
Alex: "Alright let's get some info."
Ms. Miller: "I'm sorry?"
Alex then walked up to Kayla's mom and looked her in the eyes.
Alex: "What do you know about your daughters death?"
Ms. Miller: "The person came from the window, the police know it's a female..."
Alex: "How do they know that the killer is a female?"
Ms. Miller: "They found a foot print inside Kayla's room of a girls shoe. It was a woman's size 7.5  and the shoe was designed for women."
Alex: "What type of shoe?"
Ms. Miller: "Converse."
Alex: "Men can wear that too though."
Ms. Miller: "The measurements can only be a girls foot. It didn't add up to a men's size."
Alex: "What else do you know?"
Ms. Miller: "The girl stepped in mud which is why their was a foot print so her converse are muddy now."
Alex: "Is that it?"
Ms. Miller: "Yes."
Alex: "Forget who me and Lily are. We never came here. Take a nap and when you wake up you won't feel that upset about your daughter but you will still miss her."
We then walked out of the house and into Alex's car.
Me: "Well that's a lead." I said sarcastically
Alex: "Give the police more time, they'll find something."
Alex then drove off and the rest of the car ride was silent because we were both thinking about killer and the very little clues we had.
Once we pulled up to my house my mom came running up to the car in a panic. I got out and thanked Alex for the ride.
Caroline: "What is wrong with you?!?!"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Caroline: "A girl just got murdered in your grade and your off to who knows where with out telling me?!?!"
Me: "I was just with Alex."
Caroline: "How am I suppose to know that?!?!"
Me: "Sorry."
Caroline: "Your not leaving the house until the killer is caught."
Me: "But what about the party?"
Caroline: "Tyler already made Ethan cancel it."
I sighed.
Caroline: "It's for your safety."
Me: "I know, I know."

Stefanies POV:
I grabbed my cheer bag from the pile of all the girls bags. I then walked out of the locker room to see Ethan waiting for me in his football practice uniform.
Ethan: "Hey!"
Me: "Heyyy."
Ethan then tried to kiss me on the cheek.
Me: "Ew your all sweaty!"
Ethan: "Love you too."
He smiled. Maddie then walked up from behind.
Maddie: "You are so high maintenance."
Me: "Where did you come from?"
Maddie: "Locker room. Oh here's Cheryl."
Cheryl: "I'm here." she said out of breath.
Maddie: "Why are you out of breath?"
Cheryl: "I ran to catch up with you guys."
Maddie: "Ohh."
Maddie is as dumb as a rock. I'm clearly with my boyfriend so she should just leave us alone.
Cheryl: "Anyone need a ride home?"
Me: "Ethans driving me home."
Maddie: "Matt is in the car waiting for me."
Cheryl: "How is Matt?"
Maddie: "He's good. My mom is proud of him for staying out of trouble. He's clean from everything and is starting to act more like himself."
Cheryl: "Awe thats so good."
Maddie: "I know."
We then reached the doors that led outside.
Me: "Bye girls. See you tomorrow"
They both then said bye and I was finally alone with Ethan. We headed to the car and went to the diner. Ethan looked so hot in his practice uniform and he wasn't sweaty anymore.
After we ate our food we then pulled into the back of the diner were no one was. He then parked the car...

A car then pulled up but we ignored it. It was dark by now so there's no way anyone could see us.
There was then a knock on the window. It was my mom. I screamed.
Elena: "STEFANIE ROSE SALVATORE! YOU GET OUT OF THAT CAR FULLY DRESSED RIGHT NOW."
Me: "Fuck."
Elena: "I heard that."
Me: "Who's Stefanie?"
Elena: "GET OUT NOW."
Ethan: "I'm sorry."
Me: "It's ok."
I then opened up the door and walked up to my mom.
Me: "What?"
Elena: "What do you mean what?!?! You know what you did! Just wait until your father hears about this."
