Moving

It started out as your average Sunday morning. I woke up and went downstairs to see that my mother made me some pancakes. I was confused. My mom only makes breakfast for me if there's a special occasion or something bad is about to happen.
"Mom why did you make me breakfast?"
"Because that's what a mother does for her daughter."
I didn't believe that for a second but I was hungry. I sat down and began to eat the pancakes. She sat down at the table too. I was now really confused because we normally don't have breakfast together. She's always rushing out the door to get to work. I shot her a confused face and she smiled back at me.
"Ok so can you actually tell me what's going on now?"
"Well.. you see.. I don't know if you are going to think of this as a bad or good thing but we are going to move to Mystic Falls-"
I than spitted out my drink all over my pancakes. My mom was now confused.
"WHAT."
"Were moving time Mystic Falls-"
"I know "that." What I want to know is WHY are we moving to Mystic Falls?! We are doing just fine here."
"Well you see Elena has always been pushing me to move there so than you can grow up with Stefanie but I always pushed it away because of... your father but now that I think of it. It seems like the perfect idea!"
"define perfect to me"
I said as I got up and began to walk away.
"Stop it Lily! Just let me explain. Don't you know that grew up there as a kid? And so did Elena, Damon, your father..."
"And why would that matter. I'm not a kid anymore so it's not like you can just re-raise me."
"I know. Which is why we are moving there before it's too late."
"Mom, Im not going there. Especially since it's now gonna be sophomore year and not freshman year."
"So than Stefanie will introduce you to all her friends!"
I didn't even respond to that. I walked away and didn't even look back at my mother. I ran up the stairs and locked my bedroom door. I than called up my best friend Kayla to help me. She always gives the best advice.
I told her about everything. About my visit with dad and how Stefanie couldn't even bother to show up and how my mom "thinks" that moving to Mystic Falls is best for me. Kayla than began to tell me that everything is going to be alright and to stay away from that "Stefanie bitch." She also went on about how her older brother Devan is getting married but Kayla has so many siblings that it's hard to keep track of what is happening to each one. I than hung up the phone and laid on my bed starting at the ceiling.
My mom than knocked the door.
"Lily. Please talk to me."
"no."
She than opened up the door.
"How did you-"
She held the key in her hand. I sighed.
"Listen I know that this sounds horrible to you and I honestly should of just raised you there in the first place but it just wasn't safe after the incident..."
"So whats making it safe now?"
"Well Elena is there and we have been talking. Stefanie has so much friends and loves it there."
I sighed and look towards my mother. She than said
"You know that wether you like it or not we are moving there tomorrow."
"TOMORROW?!?! what the hell! How on earth did you buy a house that quick?"
"Well I have been looking at houses for around a year now, I just couldn't find the right time to tell you..."
"And you thought that the day after the 15th year of my fathers death is the best time."
"Well I actually ran out of time.."
"I guess there's nothing I can do now"
"Listen Lily I'm sorry to throw this on to you this late but there's nothing I can do now."
"It's fine."
She walked up and hugged me.
"Now start to pack up all of your clothes. There will be new furniture at the house."
