Eleven

Harry was racing through the streets, with Ariana on the backseat, his shirt was stained with her blood. He couldn't believe this, he didn't know who did this and he wanted to find out. He needed to get her help but knew not the hospital so he knew of one place, his old mate Niall owned his own clinic.

He called ahead to let him know what happened, he needed Ariana to be safe. He pulled up to the driveway parking harshly and not wasting any time getting to Ariana, Niall must have seen him coming because he didn't waste anytime running out to help Harry.

"Bring her inside, I've set a room up for her," Niall said.

Harry nodded and ran inside before following Niall to the room he set up for her. "Do you know what happened?" He asked

Harry shook his head as he placed her down onto the bed, "No I left to see what happened, she was feeling sick for some reason and I took her too the bathroom. I thought she would be safe in there," he whispered.

He ran his bloody hands through his hair as he began to pace, how could he let this happen? He shouldn't have left her like that. Maybe then he could have seen who did this.

Niall nodded before cutting open Ariana's shirt to see the damage that had been done to her body. He couldn't believe the wounds on her body as he did. He quickly added a drip to her body, even her blood type making sure she would get enough.

"I also called Louis and Rachel, they'll be here soon," Niall said.

Harry nodded while he paced up and down the room, she has to be okay. This isn't how it ends? Is it? Niall began to stitch up the wounds on her body only for her heart rate to drop and the machine to start beeping.

"Fuck" he cursed before switching to the shockers, he charged them up before placing them against her chest.

The machine beeped before Ariana's body jolted up and down again, but still there was no change. Harry felt tears well up in his eyes again witnessing his lover not having a heartbeat.

"Come on Ariana," Niall said as he shocked her a few more times before going higher.

Ariana's body jolted again before the beeping sound was heard again, against the monitor making Harry and Niall sigh in relief that her heart was beating again. Niall finished stitching up her wounds after making sure there was no other damage to her body or organs.

Harry heard the door open making him look to see Rachel and Louis, "Jesus Christ, what happened?" Louis asked as he saw Ariana on the table.

"She was stabbed, before she could tell me she passed out. God dammit, I couldn't believe I let this happen," Harry replied.

"You would have had no idea Harry," Rachel replied, she hated seeing Ariana like this.

Even she couldn't believe it, who would harm her like that? Clearly someone would have seen something at the restaurant.

"What are we going to do?" Louis asked.

Harry took a deep breath, something he wished he would never have to do for her safety, "First, we need to send Ariana away. It's too dangerous to have her here anymore especially with whoever is after me. Clearly wants me to be like this, the next time Ariana won't be so lucky. Secondly I am going to find out who did this to her."

Rachel gasped hearing him say that, "Harry? Are you sure?" She knew what that would do to Ariana.

"It's the only way to keep her safe," Harry replied before he faced Niall, "Niall? Are you able to take Ariana somewhere safe? Without harming her?" He asked.

Niall looked at Harry and nodded his head, "Yes, I know of a place I can take her."

Harry nodded before he looked at Rachel, "I want you to go with her, you are the only person I want near her. You can help her, she is your best friend."

Rachel gulped and nodded, she knew this had to be done but she also knew this would kill Ariana physically and mentally when she finds out what Harry had decided.

"Louis, I need you to help gather a perineal detail onto Ariana as well, someone who can watch her if Rachel can't," Harry replied to Louis who nodded. "Alright we need to get moving."

Niall nodded before getting Louis' help to load Ariana into a van that was big enough to escort her onto the bed, Harry felt tears sworn in his eyes a few managed to escape his eyes before Rachel looked at him.

"What do you want me to tell her?" Rachel asked.

"That I had to go away for a while," Harry replied.

Rachel nodded before leaving the house to enter the van with Niall.

Hours later, Ariana had awoken from her slumber, she groaned before looking around the room. She winced as the bright lights hurt her ears.

"Good, you are awake," Rachel replied as she placed her book down.

"Where are we? Where is Harry?" Ariana asked.

"We are somewhere safe, Harry had to go out of town for a while," Rachel replied.

"What do you mean? Out of town?" Ariana asked.

"He didn't say but it has to be finding out who the person is that almost killed you," Rachel replied.

Ariana didn't say anything for a few moments, "It was Gabriel from The Palace who stabbed me, he said it was payback for what Harry did to his father."

Rachel's eyes widened before she brought out her phone to message Louis what Ariana told her. The bedroom door opened to reveal Niall walking in.

"Hello Ariana, I am a friend of Harry's my name is Niall. I've brought you some medicine and water," Niall introduced as he walked up with the bottle of medicine and water.

Ariana smiled gently, she didn't know what to think. Why would Harry leave without saying goodbye? Was this because of her? Was she not good enough? She began to wonder why this was happening and to her of all people.
