TWO

Ariana groaned and bit her lip as she was shoved hard against the school lockers by of course Jasmine, the school cheerleader and popular girl. Jasmine had long black straight her and wore purple lipstick, she was wearing her cheerleading outfit which was a red crop top and a short red and black skirt.

"How is it that the prettiest man alive is dating you?" Jasmine asked.

Ariana looked up towards Jasmine, why did she have to explain herself? She sighed, "I don't know. He took a liking to me because I'm not like other girls who want him for his money or sex I guess."

Jasmine frowned and slapped Ariana across the face making her hiss at the sting. Ariana was never sure either why Harry chose her but she never let it show. She knew she was strong as strong as Harry or those in the mafia.

Jasmine scoffed, "You expect me to believe that? You are weak, you don't deserve someone like him."

Ariana rolled her eyes, "I know I don't deserve him but that doesn't stop me from loving him. I may be weak but he loves that about me, I may not be confident in school but around him, I feel like I can do anything. Put your hands on me again and I will make sure he will give you a living hell."

Ariana shoved Jasmine off her body before heading off to meet up with Thomas who was waiting for her outside, he was able to leave early to pick up his little sister Olivia.

"Do you know if Harry is alright with this?" Thomas asked Ariana.

Ariana smiled, "He never says no to me plus he knows how much it is to spend time with friends," Ariana tried to reassure Thomas.

A car pulled up and Rachel stepped out a few seconds later, "Hi Ariana, let's get going. Harry's in a meeting with some investors. So he won't be home until later on, are Thomas and Olivia joining us?" Rachel asked.

"Yes, is that okay?" Thomas asked.

Rachel smiled, "Yes that's fine Thomas. Harry never minds, he knows you and Olivia."

Ariana looked at Thomas before helping Olivia into the car before she got in and buckled herself up. Thomas wasn't far behind.

"Are we going to your house, Ariana?" Olivia asked as she played with her right pigtail.

Ariana smiled as she looked at Olivia and nodded, "Yes, we are going to my house. Where we can watch movies, have popcorn and eat junk food."

Olivia cheered before looking at Thomas, "Are we staying the night too?" She asked Thomas who looked at her.

"I'm not sure Olivia. Don't you want to be with mum and dad?" Thomas asked Olivia.

Olivia stayed silent making Ariana frown, she knew Thomas' parents weren't the best but by Olivia's silent means it's worse than she thought. Rachel looked over at Ariana before facing the road again.

Rachel pulled up at the mansion parking in Harry's garage before everyone piled out, "Rachel why don't you give Olivia a tour?" Ariana suggested.

Rachel nodded and gently took Olivia's hand taking her inside. Ariana and Thomas slowly walked in behind them.

"How bad is it at home?" Ariana asked.

Thomas looked at Ariana and sighed, "It's really bad, last night mum through a plate at Olivia for asking when dinner was going to be ready. They were fighting so loud at each other last night Olivia was too scared to sleep. We can't tell social services because we probably won't end up in the same house. I'm not 18 until next month."

"I can get Harry to face track for you to be Olivia's garden for her safety and yours of course," Ariana suggested.

"You would do that for me?" Thomas asked.

Ariana looked at Thomas as if he was crazy, "Of course, you are my best friend. Your safety and Olivia's safety is my concern."

Olivia was sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner which was alfredo pasta with chicken, Ariana heard the door open and she looked to see Harry walking in with Louis following behind him. Harry hung his coat jacket up before entering the lounge room where his eyes connected to mine.

"Hi baby, how was school?" Harry asked gently as he pecked my lips.

Ariana smiled warmly, "It was good, may I speak with you in private?" She asked.

Harry frowned but nodded taking Ariana's hand before they headed to his office which he opened and closed once they were inside. "What's wrong?" Harry asked.

Ariana looked up at Harry, "My friend Thomas, he's having problems at home. It seems his family is very abusive verbally and physically."

Harry crossed his arms, "What's this got to do with me?" He asked. "I know how much you care for him because he's your friend but why have we spoken in private?"

Ariana ran a hand through her hair, "Harry, he's got a little sister she's only 5. He told me before you came home that his parents threw a plate at his little sister for asking when dinner was going to be ready. Please Harry he's 18 at the end of next month, I beg you to fast track him, so he can legally look after her. His sister doesn't deserve to be treated like this, Thomas doesn't either."

Harry sighed and fixed his posture, "You have such a big heart... But I'll see what I can do, for you Princess."

Ariana smiled brightly and squealed before hugging Harry, "Thank you Harry."

"Of course, anything for you," Harry kissed the top of her head as he hugged her back. "Come on, let's head back to Thomas and his sister."

Ariana pulled away and exited the office with Harry following behind, Ariana saw Louis playing with Olivia making her giggle. Thomas looked at Ariana and then to Harry

"What did Harry say?" Thomas asked.

Ariana smiled, "He'll see what he can do but it shouldn't be a problem."

Ariana felt Harry place his hand on her shoulder, "Thomas, why don't you and Olivia stay the night? I normally wouldn't allow this but Ariana cares for you and I will do anything for her. Stay here and keep Olivia safe" Harry asked.

Thomas was shocked but nodded, "Thank you Mr Styles, I want to keep Olivia away from our parents but it's hard. It'll be nice to have a good night sleep."

Harry nodded and turned to one of the maids who was standing near them, "Bridget please show Thomas to the spare room."

Bridget nodded and mentioned for Thomas to follow which he did, Ariana turned to face Harry, she wrapped her arms around jus neck.

"Thank you again Harry," Ariana whispered.

Harry hugged her gently, "It's fine, don't worry about it."

Harry didn't like it when kids were harmed, he may be a criminal but he wasn't insane, he doesn't touch children. None of his mafia do, they stick by a code to protect children at all costs. Ariana knew mentioning Thomas' little sister he couldn't resist and will help.

Ariana always wondered why Harry was so passionate in not hurting children, the thought of something like that made him angry. It was one thing Harry kept to himself, Ariana tries to ask but knows not to push him. She loves him and knows he won't hurt her but there is always a chance he could snap.
