"Your dad actually woke up yesterday."

"What?" I growled. Mic scratched his head and let out a small laugh. To me this wasn't really funny, at all. "Your lying. He would have told me the second he did. Stop trying to joke about this because it's really not funny, at all. Grow up."

"I'm not joking! He did wake up. He told me that he just needed to get back to class because that was the most important thing to him right now. So he was in class yesterday and still in class today. I dont know to tell you Y/n. If you joined the hero course you'd know by now!"

"Shut up about the fucking hero course. I don't care and never will. I just came back home to tell dad about something great that just happened. I guess that didn't work out huh?" I spat. His eyes filled with surprise and hope.

"Hey! You can still tell me about what happened! I'd love to know while your dad is gone. So what happened?" He asked. I sighed and rubbed my temple.

"Nothing. I just got in this stupid Ice skating tournament. Not that big of a deal. My mom used to be a professionally at it. I wanted to out do her ass. Happy now." I gripped onto the card and let him read it. He smiled at me. Suddenly he enforces me in a hug.

"Is so proud of you! I just know that you'll do amazing!" He patted me on the back. What is he trying to do do? I expected this from my actual dad. That's all I need. I want a true relationship with the parent I have left. After I kil- took care of mom, that left dad as the only one. I remember him promising that I'd all ways be special to him. I know he wouldn't break a promise, not like that filthy whore bag.

"Thanks I guess. I really didn't think you would care about this. At all." I murmured.

"What?! No! It makes me happy that  you're happy Y/n! I bet your dad will be too!" He denied. As much of a kind gesture that was, I really didn't care. All I want is to make my father proud. But since he's currently not here and teaching without giving me any sort of notice of the situation, that's not an option right now.

"Nice too know. Can you let go of me now? I promised my friends to hang out with them after I told dad. Since he's not here, I'm just going to go." I mumbled. He released me from
hug and rubbed my shoulder.

"I'm proud of you kiddo. Go have fun." He said. I nodded and walked towards the door. I walked outside to the fresh wind blowing my hair behind me. I hurried down the street and pulled out my phone to call Toga. It took her a little before actually picking up the phone.

"Hey To. I'm heading over right now. I'm just passing the drug store by the alleyway we always hang out in, do you or Dabi want anything else? Better yet do you even have the weed?" I asked.

"I'm offended N/n (nickname)! You really think we wouldn't have weed on us?!" She joked. I let out a small chuckle.

"I don't even know anymore To. You guys are weird."

"Stop saying that like it's a bad thing! Besides I don't think your any normal too miss mother killer!" She laughed. "Anyways. Yeah, can you get me some of those red push pops? Wait a minute. Dabi do you want anything?!" She yelled.

"Yeah! My hair dye! I know you stole it and threw it away you blond bimbo mother fucker!" I heard him yell back.

"Alright do you want black hair dye. Anything else? Because I'm going to get there and your going to make me run back for more things."

"Use that fake ID to get some alcohol. You've done it before." He exclaimed.

"Anything in particular? Or do you want me to surprise you like last time?"

"Beer and whiskey."

"What's the magic word"

"Now."

"Correct."

I hung up the call and walked inside the store. I grabbed Togas push pops, the red one of course because she refuses any other flavors. I grabbed the black hair dye that I saw lying around their apartment. I also got him a pack of staples while I'm there. I walk towards the liquor cabinet and grabbed a six pack of beers and a medium sized bottle of whiskey. I put them in my basket and walk through the store one more time. A certain something catches my eye. It was a small pink pocket knife with black engravings on it that said 'crazy bitch'. Toga would absolutely love this. I picked up two of the available pocket knifes and slipped my desired one Into my sleeve. I put down the other knife like I only picked up that one to begin with. I walked towards the register and pay for my things. I took out the fake ID and showed the cashier. She nodded and put the drinks in the bag. After everything was packed and paid for I walk out of the store and down to the apartment. I knocked the paint chipped door and quickly got pulled in by my blond best friend.

"Did you get everything?!" She asked. I chuckled and gave her the bag.

"Push pops, the red ones. Black hair dye and staples, I figured you were running out Dabi. The booze. And one final thing for you To." I told them. I slipped out the pocket knife and held it towards her. I see her yellow eyes sparkle and widen at the pink leather weapon. Her small fangs visible from her wide and beautiful smile. Her smile is incredibly contagious. The corners of my lips lift from there usual resting bitch face. Showing a sincere smile that rarely escapes my heart. I felt small little butterflies erupt in my stomach. My eyes can't leave her face. She excitedly took the knife from me and started examining it. Smiling when she sees the engraving. "It reminded me of you so I decided to get it. It is stolen though but I didn't think you'd care about that."

"Y/n this is the best thing anyone has ever done for me! Thank you!" She said engulfing me into one of her warm hugs. I hugged back and released.

"Well I'm glad you enjoyed it. But can we get to the weed now. I need more then you can imagine right now." I sighed. She nodded and went to go get the stash. I sit next to Dabi on the couch.

"So how did it go with your dad?" He asked.

"Shit show. The mother fucker wasn't even home. Apparently he woke up and decided that his class was the most important thing then." I sighed. He shook his head.

"That's messed up. Choosing your class over your child." He said.

"No that's not it Dabi. I know perfectly well that if push comes to shove he would one hundred percent choose me. He promised."

"We'll see Y/n. Parents break promises. Out of everyone I think you would know that." He chuckled. I feel a small scowl appear on my face.

"Of course, Dabi." I snapped.

"Hey come on. Don't let them get to you. Your mom had it coming. Let's just smoke some weed tonight yeah?"

"Yeah, sure." I mumbled. Toga walked in with the stuff and without hesitation we all took a hit. I fell the smoke explore all corners of my mouth and throat before I decided to release it. I blew it out and leaned my head back. The others followed and before we knew it we were all suffering the side effects. Toga was constantly giggling and Dabi was just sitting there, dazed. I was kinda out of it myself. Things were kinda dizzy and slow. Toga stood up from her seat and started dancing around. She was giggling the whole way through this thing so far. Suddenly she walked towards me and grabbed my hands. She tried pulling me out of my seat but I didn't. She quickly did something unexpected.

She kissed me.

Her lips rested against mine and stayed there for about one minute as she cupped my face. I never pulled away. My eyes were open for about the first half of it out of shock. I didn't kiss back but I never tried to pull away from her. Once she pulled away she continued her little dance.

1455 words.
