The Family's Engagement- Braddison

Chapter 2

August 14

Addison POV: 

I woke up extremely early to go downstairs to make Bryce his birthday breakfast. As I walked downstairs, I notice Beau and Nina were here putting the balloons in the house. Along with pictures of Bryce of every age. I had the baby monitor with me as I didn't want Bryce to wake up to grab Hayden. 

N: How do you feel, Adds?

A: I want to cry. It's crazy this is the second birthday I've spent with Bryce. Last year we were in a hotel. Having lots of sex and this year we are in our home. 

N: Crazy what a year can do. 

A: Definitely

I began to get out the ingredients for chocolate crepes, bacon, eggs, fruit, and mimosas. As I was cooking the crepes, I heard the baby monitor go off. Nina then went upstairs to grab him for me, and I was thankful. 

A: Nina, could you do the crepes? While I feed him real quick? 

N: Of course. And when you're done. I can go change him, bathe him, and bring him downstairs ready. 

A: Thank you so much

As I fed Hayden, he looked into my eyes. And then I started crying. My baby boy was just so incredible, and I was so in love with him. I was so in love with the fact that he was created based upon love. And how Hayden looked like the perfect mixture of Bryce and me. When he was done, I burped him and then handed him off to Nina. Just then, I heard small footsteps approaching. Seri came down, rubbing her eyes, then she wrapped her arms around my legs. I reached down and kissed her head. 

S: Mama, I made dad a card. Do you think he will like it?

A: He will love it, baby. I also got the blanket you asked me to get him with pictures of you guys.

S: Really 

A: Of course. Auntie Amelie and Uncle Blake should be here soon. 

S: Are all of them coming?

A: No, but to dinner later. 

As the doorbell rang. Beau carried Serenity to the door. And Amelie walked in with a smile on her face. She then continued to help me cook and set up the table. We then heard footsteps, and Bryce was downstairs in pajama bottoms and no shirt. Mhmm, my man was fine, and I was feeling like the luckiest person in the world. 

Bryce POV:

I woke up, and Mi Amor was gone. I then walked into my princess's room, and she was gone. The last place I decided to check was Hayden's nursery, and he wasn't in there. I went back into the room, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and then headed downstairs. I looked around, and it was amazing. My fiance had balloons with pictures of me of every age. And then I walked into the kitchen more, and A huge 26 light-up was there with an arch. I walked in to see my family. 

S: Happy Birthday, Daddy.

B: Thank you, my princess

I picked Seri up and spun her around. I then began to kiss her cheek and then her head hearing her giggle. 

S: Daddy let me down. 

I then set her down and walked over to Hayden. I picked him up and saw his onesie said, "It's my dad's birthday, and he's old." I began to laugh a little bit, and then I pulled Addison into my arms. She was smiling. 

A: Happy Birthday Bubba, you are getting old. 

B: Mhmm, it's not what you said last year

A: Shut up.
