(L) *knocking on front door*
(N) coming *opens door* yes?
(L) Hi Nancy I'm Luke Randy's friend
(N) oh your the boy from my son's school, welcome come on in
(L) *walking inside* you have a nice place
(N) thank you, we keep it clean and nice so that randy can have an easy way getting through the house
(L) may I ask when did randy loose his eye sight?
(R) *sitting in bed room* he wants to know
(N) well he was fourteen at the time, a group of friends and him were playing around whenever a window shattered in the apartment complex above from where him and his friends had been playing, randy heard the shatter and looked up then that lead to shards of glass getting in his eyes messing up his vision, they did so many tests and surgeries but it wasn't bringing his vision back so he's been blind four years now
(L) he was fourteen at the time so he's eighteen now
(N) yes he is
(L) I never really knew his story but I knew him from school, I promise to take care of your son at school
(N) atleast I know my son is being taken care of by someone in that school
(L) may I ask where is his father?
(N) his father passed away years before he lost his vision, he was only eleven at the time I don't want to go into many details about it since it hurts randy whenever we talk about the story
(L) that's alright I understand, I'm sorry for your loss
(R) *walking out of room*
(N) randy your friend Luke has come by
(R) hey Luke
(L) hey randy
(R) could him and I go outside?
(B) yes you can son
(L) I'll help him *holds Randy's hand*
(R) thank you for looking out for me Luke
(L) no problem *helping outside* in three more steps you can sit down
(R) alright *taking steps then sitting on grass*
(L) *sitting beside randy* it feels nice out
(R) yeah it does, is their nothing behind me?
(L) no their isn't
(R) *lays back on grass* it does feel nice out here
(L) I wanted to ask you something
(R) what is it?
(L) do you ever think you'll find love?
(R) I hadn't really thought of that but I want to find love no matter what gender they are
(L) *lays beside randy* I think you'd be able to, from the way I look at you your a good looking guy with the sweetest smile
(R) thank you for everything Luke
(L) I'll always be here for you
