DRACO POV:

We all knew our last year was going to be hectic, just not in the way we expected. From burning photographs to deaths of our most beloved friends, Hogwarts has it all. Should've just went to that other Wizarding school.

READER POV:

Summer at the Burrow. There couldn't possibly be a better way to spend 2 months away from school. Of course, there's family but how would I know, my whole family is dead.
I boarded the train and waved at Draco from the window as the train took off. I leaned against the window sill and watched the setting grow out of sight.
I began to fantasize and imagine what 7th year could look like for Draco and me. The thought of us splitting up was present in the back of my mind. I saw us running through the corridors late at night and sneaking into the kitchen. Getting caught by Snape and him taking house points.
Just as I was drifting off into a slumber, I heard a knock on the cabin door. I shot up in my seat and gestured for them to come in as I yawned.

"Anything from the trolley, Dear?" A woman asked me.
Her cart was full of wizard candies, many that I had never seen before.

"Erm, no thank you," I faintly smiled. "I'm a bit tired. Thank you though, truly."
The woman smiled and nodded before slamming the cabin door and walking out. My eyes widened in surprise but I then dismissed it. I pulled a thick book out of my beige book bag and flipped to my bookmark.
I began to hear noises in the corridor. A redhead and a brunette ran through the corridor, chasing after the trolley woman.

"Ron? Harry?" I said excitedly, practically throwing the book across the compartment.
Ron turned and tapped Harry vigorously. Their faces changed quickly. They looked frightened and pale.
        Ron opened the door.

"(Y/n)?" The boys said together.

"Ron! Harry!" I ran over to them and tackled them both in a long hug.

"We missed you so much," Ron said as he held me.
"We thought you were..."

"Dead?"

"Erm...in a sense?"

"It's a long story— something for another day. I just want to act like everything is normal for once," I let go and looked at them both.
I sat down and gestured for them to do the same. Ron sat next to me and slowly began to lean on my shoulder.
I giggled and pushed him off of me.

"Where's Hermione?" I asked.

"She's talking to Luna," Harry chimed in and sat down in front of Ron and me.
Their faces grew suspicious. They slightly smiled but never let their emotions through.

"Sounds fun—So, what? Do you chaps want something from me?" I asked, pushing Ron who had made his way onto my shoulder again.

"Yes, actually," Ron finally smiled.

"I KNEW IT!"

"Well I don't necessarily want something from you but I wanted to ask you something."

"Keeping going..."

"Do you want to stay with us at the Burrow this summer? It would be fun. You can sleep in Ginny's room if you'd like? I'm sure she wouldn't mind."

"That's a beautiful offer, Ron. I would love to spend the summer with you guys."

"Oh—I mean yeah, nice. It's not the best but...we make it...work?"

"I think it's wonderful, " I told him. "How are you by the way? I feel so rude for not asking,"
      Ron brushed it off.
