WORD COUNT: 2897

I woke up early the next morning. I couldn't remember how I ended up in Draco's bed. The sky was cloudy and the trees swayed back and forth. The field that surrounded his home seemed to go on for miles.
Draco's hand rested on my shoulder. I squiggled out of his grip and got up to get dressed.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked in a very clear tone considering he had woken up just a minute ago.

"Nowhere," I softly smiled.

"Lay here with me for a little longer?" he whined.

"Draco asking me to lay in bed with him a bit longer?  Who are you and what have you done with the love of my life? The Draco I know would never lay in bed past 8 am."

"Shut the fuck up and come here."
I crawled onto his bed and covered both of us with a blanket. He drew squiggles on my back with his finger, his eyes struggling to stay open.

"Blaise is throwing this party at his house," Draco told me.
I turned to face him.

"Oh yeah? And you want me to go with you, don't you?" I questioned.

"Well yes. You are my girlfriend after all."

"Even though I'm a half-blood?" I raised an eyebrow.

"You know that shit doesn't bother me anymore, (y/n)."

"Anymore," I joked.
I planted a kiss on his forehead, stretching to reach it.

"Of course I'll go with you. When is it?"

"Tomorrow. I'll take you to a fancy shop to buy you a dress. Maybe even some jewelry if you behave."

"If I behave?"
He looked at me through his eyebrows, the attraction was intense.

"Is that why you went to 'save' me? Just so you could have someone to take to Blaise's party?

"It's not that."

"Then what is it?"

"I can't tell you. Not yet. Not here. Now, why don't we get dressed and head to the finest boutique around?"
Without realizing it, I let him change the subject.
We looked at each other, smirks growing on our faces.

"I CALL YOUR BATHROOM!" I yelled as fast as I could.
We both threw the covers of ourselves and ran to the bathroom. Draco got there first and jumped in front of the door.

"No!" I giggled, leaning against his chest.

"I get to shower here first. Unless-"

"Nope nope, nope you get to shower first," I chuckled.
He planted a kiss on my forehead and opened the door to the bathroom. His mischievous smirk showed through the crack as he slowly shut the door.

I slipped on my short, satin-side split dress. It was a shade of dark green the complimented my color perfectly. The top drooped down just enough to show my breasts but not too much. It hugged my body beautifully.
I stepped out of the bathroom all glammed up. Draco was no longer sitting on the bed. I exited his room and called his name. My voice echoed down the expensive halls.

"Draco!" I called.
In a way, the echo was angelic.
I wandered the halls, admiring the detail on the walls, floor, and ceiling. Something about it made me feel like I was in a fairytale.
As I walked down the hall I noticed light coming out from under a door. I smiled and walked up to the door confidently.
