Chapter 2: My first day in South Korea

My plane just landed, and I'm already feeling a mixture of excited and nervousness. I walk out into the lobby and grabbed my bags and began looking around waiting to see Jimin or at least her mom. ( I met her through Skype calls)
I grabbed my phone and sent a message to Jimin
TO:Jimin
FROM:Charlie
"Hey, my plane arrived,do I need to meet you somewhere?"
I soon got a reply
TO:Charlie
FROM: Jimin
" hey, sorry we are almost there my mom woke me up late :( we are pulling into the parking lot not be there to hug you in a minute or two!"
I found a quiet area of the airport and say down and decided to wait here
After about two minutes I here a soft scream and turned around as I saw Jimin rushing at me. As soon as we got close we hugged each other so tight both of us had a hard time breathing.

We are now in her moms car driving to their house.
In the car she starts asking me all kinds of questions about who I plan on auditioning for first.
" well to be honest Jimin I haven't actually thought about which company I should go for, I may just audition for the next company that has one", I said.
Jimins response probably made me rethink what I said " Well good thing because today jyp is having a audition and we're gonna take you there"
I must admit I was excited but I somewhat wish I had more time to prepare and all
" Jimin that is amazing that they are but I don't know if I'm prepared enough" I tried to play it cool but I obviously was panicking
" too late we already have the forms filled out we are on our way there now"

I'm now in front of the jyp building with my guitar and the forms. Jimin grabbed my hand and pulled me into the building where JYP is holding the audition. I went up signed my name and got my number
" number 1036.." I whispered to myself quietly.
After around 1 hour they called my name and number and I walked in to the room
" hello you name is Charlie correct?" JYpP asked me
" yes sir that is my name"I responded I'm alittle scared cause I'm infront of judges, because I am auditioning to be a trainee.
" you may begin , please be the first we take"
" thank you sir"
I sat down on a stool that a staff brought for me and began singing Sad Song by Baek Ah Yeon

As soon as I was done singing the judges didn't say a word just looked at me. Then after what felt like eternity Jyp spoke
" You have an amazing voice and I would like you to be a special trainee with me as soon as possible."
" oh my.. Thank you sir I will work hard" that was the only thing I could say
" please be at the jyp entertainment building at 7 tomorrow bring your guitar aswell"
" yes I will, thank you!"
I then walked out grabbed my contract which read on front 'Special Trainee Contract'
I walked and and met Jimin and her mom out front looking sad hiding the contact behind my guitar.
As soon as Jimin turns around and sees me she says
" oh Charlie I'm sorry I shouldn't have made you audition"
" Sorry for what? I got in!"I. Said and pulled the contract out from my guitar and her look on her face was priceless

I just was dropped off infront of the jyp building by jining mom. It is now 6:50, so I'm 10 minutes early. I walked in and signed in and when the clerk say my name she went wide eyed
" your the girl that Jyp said singing amazingly!"
I just looked at her in confusion
" oh sorry I can get kinda carried away, follow me please"
I just nod and follow her to a room and when she opens it she bows then it's my turn to enter I see jyp and bow, but there is alo 7 other boys in here.
"Hello Charlie I would like you to meet my newest rookie group , Got7" Jyp said formally "boys , this is Charlie. She is the only trainee we got yesterday and she sings simply amazing" he said.
" ahh Noona is a good singer like youngjae hyung?" The tallest one with black hair said.
" ah boys she does, but she does not know your names so jb will you please introduce everyone?" Jyp asked the silver hair guy which I am to assume is the leader.
" hello I am jaebum but I go by jb, this is jinyoung know as jr, Jackson ,youngjae, yugyeom , mark and BamBam."
So the boy who said I sing good is yugyeom.
"Oh and boys,she is actually younger than all of you; but sorry for interrupting will you now please introduce yourself " he looked at me and said that.
" ah Hello my name is Charlie " I said unsure of what to say to them that's all I could come up with.
" well Charli I would like them to hear you sing, and I never saw you dance so will you also dance to a song for me?" Jyp said.
" of course sir, and song you would like me to sing?"
Then the boy names BamBam spoke up
" will you sing the song you auditioned with?"
I just smiled and got my guitar and began playing

As I finished singing all of them stared again, and I began to feel self conscious, then all of a sudden they all got up and hugged me
" you seem so sad when singing that song,please don't be sad." Jr said.
" let's see you dance now shall we?"Jyp said
" yes sir" a simply response works for me I like being quiet to be honest.

I finished dancing and everyone clapped for me and I couldn't do anything but bow.
" well, with the skills you have I think you could be a solo artist and debut with a few months" Jyp said.
I just went wide eyed and everyone clapped.
" I have to step out now, Got 7 take care of her will you?" Jyp asked the boys
" of course sir" they all said in sync
I just stood there astonished at what he said. I would debut in a few months, that probably made me the happiest person ever.

Got7 and I pretty much messed around for the rest of the day until around 7
" Charlie we are going to our dorm to watch movies and eat dinner would you like to join us?" Jb asked
" hmm of course I would love to join you all" I smiled while I responded.

We walked into the dorm and they all went different directions , jb and jr went to the kitchen, mark and Jackson went to the living room, bambam youngjae and yugyeom are In the hall entering rooms and going back and fourth. Jb calls everyone into the living room and everyone just gestures for me to sit by them.i got nervous when I saw bambam he just payed the seat next to him once and then meet me to decide.
I went and sat next to bambam and we smiled at each other.
" well let the horror movie marathon begin." Jb said.
At this notion I went wide eyed and I think bambam could tell I was scared cause all he did was grab my hand and whispered 'its okay to be scared I will protect you.'

After the 3 movies and me hiding in bambams arms way to many times I decided it was time for me to go home since it was 10
" guys I better go home, my friend is probably worried" I said.
"I will walk you out to a taxi" bambam said
We stood up gathered our belongings and headed out the door.

As soon as bambam hailed a taxi and opened the door, I turned around and said
" Thank you bambam" and being me I hugged him, after a minute of him being startled he hugged back.
" Uhm Charlie...can I see your phone ?"
I just nodded and gave it to him. He opened it up and did something, then handed it back.
" when you get home text me so I can make sure you are all right, okay?" He said.
" of course bambam, goodbye!" I waved to him then climbed Into the taxi.
Well this is one of the best days of my life , that I will never forget.
