Chapter 5: making progress

Charlies POV:
My morning began abruptly, I woke up to not my alarm but a phone call from a staff worker in JYP
"Hello this is Charlie can I help you?"
" hello the in sungjoo I would like to tell you Jyp would like you to move into the dorms today , bring everything you need, and we will have your dorm set up for now you will be in a dorm by yourself."
" ah thank you will goodbye"
"Goodbye"
After I got off my phone I decided I should begin packing as soon as possible

Jimins mom helped me bring everything I need to jyp
" bye eomni thank you very much" I said to my second mother pretty much
"Bye darling do well make us proud " she replied with joy
" of course bye!"
I turned waving and walked in the doors
" hello I need to meet sungjoo about moving into a dorm?"
" ah he's in the music room head there and he will take you."
" thank you"

When I arrived at the music room I herd what sounded like an argument and decided to knock first but before I could knock, the door opened and someone I don't recognized walked out angry the appeared who I believe is sungjoo
"You must be Charlie?"he said very coolly
" ah yes I am"I replied back quietly
"Let's go"
Before I could speak he began walking
I hurried and followed him

When we got to the second floor of the dorms I noticed the door he stopped in front of is right next to got7's dorm
" This is your dorm pick a room and sometime soon you will have some dorm mates" sungjoo said then began walking away
" thank you!" I said as he was almost gone

As I began to go inside got 7 opened their door and walked and and just happened to notice me
" oh Charlie your moving in next to us?"youngjae said since he was the first one out
"Oh youngjae, yes I am "I replied out of breath from carrying a heavy bag
"Let us help you with these Charlie"Jackson said
" uh sure" I said while smiling
All of got 7 helped me carry in the rest of my bags in my dorm after we were done we went out into the hall

" of course it was our pleasure" Jr said
"How about we go shopping with Charlie? She is gonna need some supplies"yugyeom said
"How about it Charlie? Do you want to? " Jb said while looking me in the eyes
"Sure we can go let me get changed tho"I said
" we will wait here" bambam said
"Alright" I said while walking into my dorm

I ended up wearing a light blue skirt, a white shirt, acid washed denim jacket, and white converse
When I walked out they all went wide eyed
"Are we ready to go?" I asked while being embarrassed
" that outfit suits you Charlie " bambam said
" thank you , let's go" I replied

As we began walking to a shop go buy house utensils we laughed and enjoyed talking when I noticed I my phone was ringing I decided to answer it since it was my mom
" hello mom , is everything okay ?" I said while still walking
" hi dear, we need to talk I have some terrible news "my mom said sounding like she just got done crying
" what's wrong mom? "
" your dad had a heart attack and is in the hospital in a coma, the doctors say he may never wake up Hun before he had his heart attack he said he wished you never quit your dream for anything. So I beg of you don't quit continue for your father succeed "
" mom... I will , I have to go bye mom"
Without even waiting for an answer I hung up and continued to walk but a bit slower than the rest of got7 so I could think to myself
"Is everything okay?" I heard bambams voice next to me
" huh oh yea of course it is" I said trying to sound normal
"No it's not, if it was you wouldn't be having tears in your eyes now what's wrong?"
" my dad is in the hospital , but let's not talk about this bambam"
" let's talk later then, I will always listen"
We both began to catch up with the group to walk to our destination

We got done shopping around 9:30 pm and went back to the dorms so we could sleep since we have training tomorrow once again
"Bye everyone thank you for today"
"Goodnight Charlie sleep well we will wait for you tomorrow " Jb said
"Thank you and alright sleep well "
We said some more goodbyes and I went to sleep

I woke up earlier than normal and went and got ready wearing black joggers and a black tank top with a plaid shirt with my hair up in a bun for all my classes today
I was finishing breakfast when there was a knock on the door
" oh sungjoo hello, can I help you?" I said
" we are having a meeting in meeting room number 1 to talk about your debut" he said the left quickly
" I grabbed my shoes and texted bambam saying I couldn't meet got7 and walked to the meeting room

When I walked into the room I bowed and took a seat they were pointing for me to sit in
" welcome Charlie I have some news we have come up with a song for you to use as your title song, we are gonna begin with a bad girl who is really innocent look we want your hair to be white so we will be getting you a hair appointment and just for the information we may have you debut sooner if you can show us a decent amount of progress so this meeting is to have you sign the idol contract " Jyp started off with a lot of information
" of course I will sign" I said quickly trying to contain my excitement
When they handed me the contract I read through it and signed as soon as I was done reading

After I left the meeting room with a note from jyp since I was late for vocal class

When I walked into the class I bowed and gave the note to the instructed and she immediately congratulates me , I say thank you and begins he vocal exercises with got7

After class got7 begins to speak with me
" what was the instructor congratulating you on Charlie?" Yugyeom asks
" I signed an idol contract with jyp today that's why I couldn't meet you this morning" I say barely controlling my excitement

All of got7 congratulates me and we finish class for the day
