Severus Snape was in his classroom checking to make sure that his Potion supplies were all in order, when he was disturbed by his door opening. Without looking, he knew that it was his hidden spy that was in the Dumbledore camp. "You should warn Emerald that Dumbledore is going to try something this school year. He hasn't told anyone what he is actually planning, but there is something. All he said was that with Emerald on the right side, that Sirius was sure to follow." Without being dismissed, the spy left the Potions Master to his thoughts.
Severus knew that Dumbledore couldn't be trusted, as he was just a much prettier Dark Lord, but in disguise. Having worked for the Dark Lord in the first war, Severus had seen first hand how both men were very much the same, yet also very different. To some degree, Severus actually respected the Dark Lord due to him being honest; in his actions and words, but with Dumbledore, all you was greeted with was manipulation, false platitudes and being treated as you was a chess piece in his game.
It had been ten years since that fateful night, and Severus was convinced that the Dark Lord was not going to return, however, the same cannot be said for Dumbledore. Ever since that All Hallows Eve, Dumbledore had been telling everyone that would hear, that the Dark Lord was not dead and would some day return; all without a shred of evidence, and everyone believed him. That was what pissed him off the most with Dumbledore's sycophants as they would automatically take his word as law, but at least with the Dark Lord you was given evidence; even though it was purely up to the person themselves if they should believe the evidence that was in front of them.
Deciding to speak to Emerald and Orion after the feast, Severus carried on with his stock taking before the arrival of the students.

The train ride had been peaceful for Emerald and Orion, the only occurrence was Emerald speaking to the rest of the Slytherins about how things were going to change from here on out, and to spread the word to their friends in the other Houses, but to keep it under wraps. The Slytherins were going to be acting very different this coming school year. Emerald wanted the show of power to show the Potters that they were in fact, below her and would stay there for the rest of her life. With James' mother being of Black Blood, Emerald viewed him as a disgrace to the Black name and it was time to also voice that opinion to him as well.
