1.14)Ivy's Troubles

My POV

A week had passed after the agreement with Rita. The three of us were quiet during Group study. I actually didnt talk to anyone properly. I felt really bad from what Rita said. I was in deep thought during Group Study when James shouted,

James:Darn it!

I looked at him. Sirius turned to him, annoyed.

Sirius:What is it,James?

James:We could have asked Remus. Who would suspect our innocent Remus?

Sirius:That's actually good...

Me:This proves that you two cant be in Ravenclaw.

Sirius:Why is that,Violet?

Me:Look, the only reason I agreed to let Rita ask Bellatrix is cause she loves gossip and gathering information about others. Remus is innocent and if he were to ask her, she would get suspicious. Also, it's bad enough that you two are involved. I dont want to involve anyone else.

Sirius:That's actually smart...Why arent you in Ravenclaw?

James:Because of her incompetence..

Me:Ha..ha..Very funny..

After that, we were silent. I then looked around the room.

Me:Is Remus's mother sick again?

James:No..His father is sick.

Me:Do you not find it odd that he is always absent during the same time every month?

Sirius:Do you also overthink?

I rolled my eyes. These guys were annoying. Why was I stuck with them? They were smart but annoying. I still found Remus's absenteeism really odd. I thought about it for a while and let it go. The three of us hadnt argued for days. At the table,

Narcissa:How come Potter and Sirius havent argued with you at all?

Maria:I know... I need entertainment.

Me:I cant fight just because you are bored.

Maria:Hey..It was a joke..Are you alright?

Me:Yes. I am fine.

Severus:Could I talk to you,Victoria?

Me:Of course.

Severus and I went to the entrance

Severus:You arent talking  to anyone.

Me:I'm just stressed with exams. That's all.

Severus:You stopped talking to Ivy and you are talking with Potter and Black..

Me:That's because we are in the same  group..

Severus:Is there any other reason?

Me:No, Severus.

Severus:I feel like you are becoming distant.

Me:I assure you. I'm fine. Alright?

Severus looked at me with concern. He then nodded.

Severus:Alright..

I smiled at him. He smiled back. We then headed back to the table again. Another week passed and Ivy and Bellatrix was back. Ivy looked worse. She was almost as pale as me, skinny as me. She looked weak and tired. I was getting worried. On Monday,  during Group Study,

Sirius:Ivy looks like a skeleton.

Me:I am not blind,Sirius.

James:We need to do something.
