1.16) The Fight

My POV

James, Sirius and I walked down the corridor. Not to Dumbledore's office but to Minton's office. I could see that Sirius and James were worried. We couldn't do anything. We hardly knew any hexes, Minton was right behind us and he wouldn't hesitate to kill us. We were so doomed.

Sirius:What do we do?

Me:I don't know. His wand is behind me.

James:Sirius and I will run and call someone.

Sirius:Sounds good.

Me:Wait-

Just then Minton smacked the three of us at the back of our heads.

Minton:I can hear you three. Just walk before I accidentally kill you all.

Sirius:You should be sacked.

Minton:I give a damn about what you think, Black. Now go.

We weren't going to get out of this. Just then,

Remus:Victoria?

We turned to see Remus. We were so happy to see him.

Me:Remus!

Just then, I felt Minton's wand poking me so hard at my back.

Remus:What are you three doing?

Me:We are going to Professor Minton's office because-

Sirius:Remus! How are you? Long time no see, mate!

What on earth was Sirius doing?Minton pushed his wand more. I turned to Sirius and scowled at him. He mouthed "What?". I gestured him to look at my back. Sirius realized and meanwhile, Remus was staring at us awkwardly. I smiled.

Me:We are going to Professor Minton's office. We will be back soon.

Sirius:Yes. We will be back soon.

He sounded dead. How could I get myself into such a big mess?

Remus:Umm..Alright..James, did take my-

Minton:Mr Lupin, these three will be back soon. Don't worry. Now, run along.

Remus:Yes,Professor.

Minton:Splendid ..

Remus then walked past us. Our only chance of surviving walked away. I couldn't even imagine that I would die with these tossers..

The three of us then walked to Minton's office. There we found Rodolphus and Bellatrix in the room. Rodolphus marched right upto Minton.

Rodolphus:How long does it take to bring a bunch of scrawny first years?!

James:Hey..

I nudged him hard in the ribs.

Minton:They aren't easy to bring along.

Rodolphus scoffed.

Rodolphus:Oh really?

Minton:You dont know how stubborn they are? Those two Gryffindors wanted to play hero and I had to use the Cruciatus curse on Violet to get them to come along..

Bellatrix:How heroic..

Rodolphus:Pathetic is more like it.. Honestly..let's kill them..already..

Just then, a voice behind us said,"Not so fast.." We turned to see Lucius Malfoy. He gave us a smirk and walked forward.

Rodolphus:Lucius...What are you thinking?

Bellatrix:Exactly...Let's kill them... Although..I would like have a little fun with them before they die..
