Just a little short thing that I wrote sometime last year. I believe I meant for it to be this just a group of telekinetic/telepaths wanted by the government, but I never really went through with it.

The rain came down slowly but steadily. As Faith continued down the well-worn path to her house, the rain came down harder in sheets. She shivered, and tucked her hands further into the pockets of her hoodie. Cars zoomed past her, and Faith found herself envying the warmth and contentment that the people inside of the cars would most certainly be feeling. At least they know where they were going in life, Faith thought glumly.
After a few minutes of walking, Faith could sense something was amiss. She didn't know how, but she knew for sure that something; someone, was following her. Whether they had good or bad intentions, she didn't know.
Faith subtly quickened her steps, not looking back. After a few minutes of speed walking, she no longer could feel the presence behind her. Faith slowed down. By this time, the rain had calmed, and was falling more gently. She turned the corner and bumped into someone coming around the same bend. Faith stifled a scream and fell down into the muddy ground. Her hood slipped off. Her wet hair was plastered to her face, blocking her view of the person in front of her. Faith reached up with muddy hands and swatted the hair away from her face to better see the person who had so rudely ran into her
"Excuse me, I-" Faith stopped as she realized who was in front of her. Leaning on the post of the fence, wearing only a hoodie and gym shorts, was Jacen Alder.
"Here. Let me help." Jacen said, holding out a hand. After some consideration, Faith reached for it, and he lifted her up.
"What are you doing here?" Faith asked.
Jacen tilted his head, examining her.
