Wilbur woke up the next morning, unsure of when he fell asleep last night. He sat up, looking around. Everything was normal, his room was the exact same. Maybe last night had been a nightmare. He stood, walking to his locked door. He opened it, almost crying when he saw sonic shake and fries sitting on the floor beside the door. He resisted the urge to kick it and locked himself back in his room, sitting back down on his bed. He looked over at his phone, which was laying on the bed besides him. He opened it, seeing a multitude of missed calls. He ignored them and put his phone back down.

He was about to lay down when his phone rang.

"Hey dad" He answered, his voice shaky

"Hey Wil" Phil said "How are you?"

"Uh, not any better than last night" Wilbur said "I'm sorry about that, by the way"

"No I get it" Phil said "I barely wanted to walk in there"

"How's Dave?"

Phil sighed "I wouldn't know, he hasn't said a single word to me. Well, he told me he was going to the hospital today so I suppose that's something"

"The hospital? Why?"

"They wanted to know what we plan on doing" Phil said

"Oh" Wilbur said "Well god, Dave shouldn't be doing that by himself"

"Yeah, I was going to go, but-"

"Yeah" Wilbur said. He took a deep breath "I guess I could go"

"No, I don't want to push you into that Wil" Phil said "I'm fine I can-"

"No offense Dad, but you really can't. It's fine, I'm fine, I can go help him" Wilbur said

"Ok," Phil said. He paused and softly said "I love you"

"Bye" Wilbur said quickly, hanging up. He let his phone slip out of his hands as he stood up. He slipped on his coat and grabbed the keys, walking out the door.

The drive to the hospital was worse than the drive back last night. Last night, he left with confusion and pain, today he returned with guilt and a hole in his chest.

"Wil?" Dave said as Wilbur walked into the room the receptionist had told him to. Wilbur smiled nervously at Dave and someone behind a desk.

"Hey" Wilbur said "I'm sorry, I don't mean to bother you, Dad just suggested that I come to help"

Dave thought for a second before forcefully shrugging "sure. We were just discussing people I could talk to set the thing up"

"Have you talked to Tubbo's parents?" Wilbur asked

"Why?"

"I was just thinking we could have them together; Tommy and Tubbo were inseparable, why should this be any different?"

Dave nodded "Yeah I can do that definitely"

"Ok" The person said "Well Mr- Dave" He corrected "I think you have everything you need?"

"Yup" Dave nodded "thank you, see you later"

He and Wilbur walked out. Dave grabbed Wilbur's arm as they made their way to the parking lot

"Why are you here?"

"What?" Wilbur turned to face him

"I'm perfectly fine doing this by myself, why did you show up?" Dave said

"Tommy is-" Wilbur bit his tongue "was my brother too, ok? I have every right to be apart of this"

"That too, you won't even call it a funeral" Dave said
