I had an assignment to do, and I had to get it done quickly. I was looking for a very specific type of flower. I didn't know why. I never know why. I hurriedly rushed through the overgrown forest, my eyes scanning everywhere I could see. But then I saw something that made me stop dead in my tracks.
The lady who I had saved the day before was standing before me, definitely not bruised or cut anymore. There was no way a normal person  could heal that fast!
"Please do not be alarmed." The woman smiled.
"H- How did you heal so quickly?" I stammered.
"Because I'm not human." Was the woman's simple response.
"Are you saying you're an alien?" I cried in surprise.
"Not quite." The woman laughed. "I'm half mermaid and half werewolf. The "man" you saved me from was actually an evil ogre. Because you saved me, I'm granting you a wish.
"A wish? You have the ability to grant wishes?"
"Yes, mermaids do."
"But you say you're half mermaid and half werewolf. How is that even possible?"
"My parents of course. My mother is a mermaid and my father is a werewolf."

I was too much in shock to say anything else. The more I lived, the more weird secrets I seemed to learn. I had no clue mermaids and werewolfs even existed. But if the unspoken one was possible, I suppose anything could be. It made me wonder what else there was I had no clue about.

"Do you know who I am?" I asked the strange woman creature.
"I had an idea after seeing the way you handled the ogre. Anyone stronger than an ogre couldn't possibly be normal. You're owned by the unspoken one, aren't you?"
"Yes." I lowered my head in shame.
"Think of this wish as your way out then."
"But no matter where I go, or what I do, he will always find me." I sighed.
"No, there are a few ways to bypass the system. Time travel, a different dimension, or a different identity."
"I guess I didn't think of those. I can really wish for things that major?"
"Of course you can! The wishes I grant are more powerful than other mermaids.
"Why is that?"
"My mother is a siren mermaid, which makes me a siren as well. Sirens have far more power than regular mermaids.
"Aren't sirens evil?" I laughed.
"Some are, but some aren't. It's the same same for any creature. Now what is your wish?"

I thought for a minute, unsure of exactly what I wanted. But I realized the best choice was the one which would be the most fun. So I chose.

Me and the siren werewolf woman decided to become friends. We could actually help each other much more in the future. I found out her name was Andriana. We exchanged phone numbers. (Apparently magical creatures also have phones) and then went our separate ways. Somehow, I had to convince my best friend to go where I was going before the unspoken one found out!
