🖊️ Prompt # 97 🖊️

A warlock runs a tattoo shop by day and makes runes for witches by night. A human girl arrives on her 18th birthday to get a tattoo. He unconsciously puts a protection rune on her. Later he discovers that she is the last remaining half-witch of the most powerful coven. Her coven used dark magic extensively which disrupted the balance of nature hence was destroyed. The council of witches planned to kill every last witch because that coven was declared as polluted. She was not detected by any witches before because her powers were dormant.

The warlock feels attached to her because their protection runes match completely and vows to protect her. To keep her safe, he takes her to the only place where witches won't dare to come-the vampires. Witches cannot afford a war with vampires. The girl's mother had helped the vampires a lot. The oldest and the most powerful vampire, on behalf of all vampires, agrees to protect her and develops affection for her. Though his love is genuine he mostly wants her to add to his power.
