It was my 30th day in prison. I needed to escape and fix everything before it's too late. Before she destroys the device. Lucy has my time traveling amulet in her posession and does not know what it is. I must escape and get it back.
I waited for her to leave. As I summoned my very last ray of weakening cheesy power, I covered the prison bars with cheese. I chanted the freeze spell and the cheese froze, crustifying the bars. The bars slowly decayed and I pushed gently on them. They broke apart and I sneaked out.
"Space?" said a voice in the distance.
"Lauren!" I'd recognize my best friend's voice anywhere.
"Why are you here? What happened?" Lauren asked. She looked exactly the same as before I time traveled. Before everything began and ended... I suddenly realized that Lauren was unaffected by time. She was an immortal.
"Lauren I messed up." I teared up and ran over to her. She hugged me.
"Listen, Space. You must escape and find the amulet before it's too late. She's coming back." Lauren whispered.
"You're immortal! Can't you fix this?" I asked.
"Immortals cannot change the fabric of spacetime. I am a part of spacetime itself, space. A change you make in spacetime is felt throughout all the timelines. You have created an abomination. A mistake. You attracted Whale Satan from the other dimension into this dimension through the use of your amulet. The only way to fix this is to go back." Lauren whispered. She pushed me away, tears in her eyes.
"Lauren... I-"
"Go! Before it's too late." She whispered.
I ran and didn't look back.
