At Qiongqi Path

"Wei Wuxian, you dare to show up yourself. How dare you cursed me?" Jin Zixun shouts when he sees Wei Wuxian walking at the Qiongqi Path with that corpse Wen Ning.

"What do you mean? Who are you anyway? Why would I curse you?" Wei Wuxian spats.

"You, how dare you? You get this curse out from me, or I'll tell them to attack you." Jin Zixuan shouts at Wei Wuxian.

"Zixun, what are you doing?" Jin Zixuan arrives at the Qiongqi Path and shouts at his cousin, Jin Zixun.

"Zixuan, this villain had cursed me with a hundred holes curse. There's no way I can heal if he's not dead. I want him dead because he denied doing so."

"What proof do you have?" Jin Zixuan enquires

"Who else would cast a wicked spell like this if not this monster?" Jin Zixun accuses Wei Wuxian.

"You watch your words. I didn't curse you." Wei Wuxian feels anger boiled inside him. How dare this guy accused him like that. He already has so many on his plate.

"Zixun, take your men from here!" Jin Zixuan asks his cousin to leave Wei Wuxian. "We will look at this matter carefully. You don't have enough proof that Wei Wuxian is the caster of the spell. How could you ambush a guest? You only bring disgrace to our sect." Jin Zixuan is angry with his cousin.

"Why are you defending him? Is it because of your wife? I'm your cousin, he's just the son of a servant. I want revenge. If he dies, I will be cured." Jin Zixun spats in anger, he can't believe that his cousin chooses that son of servants than him." Jin Zixun spats back at Jin Zixuan.

"Zixun, how dare you disobey me?" Jin Zixuan snarls.

Instead of retreating, Jin Zixuan orders his men to attack. Hundreds of his men release their arrows.

When Wei Wuxian sees hundreds of arrows are aiming toward them, he also recognizes that the peacock is in the middle of the chaos. Jin Zixuan tries to block as many arrows as possible, while Wen Ning tries his best to protect Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian also blocks the arrows without sheathing his Suibian.

When Wei Wuxian wants to play his Chenqing, he sees Jin Zixuan is overwhelmed with the attacks. Wei Wuxian lunged forward to protect Jin Zixuan as he accepts all the arrows aimed at Jin Zixuan. Jin Zixuan eyes wide in shock, he tries to stop the attack. Wei Wuxian falls to his knees, Wen Ning  hovering Wei Wuxian's body trying to protect him from all the arrows.

"Jin Zixuan," Wei Wuxian is pulling out the clarity bell, his gift for Jin Rulan, and handed over to Jin Zixuan. "This is my gift for Jin Rulan. Please, take this." Wei Wuxian falls to Jin Zixuan's body.

Wei Wuxian knows that his life is on edge, he unsheathed Suibian and tossing it at Wen Ning. "Wen Ning, bring us to the Burial Mounds."

"The Yiling Patriarch has died!" One of Jin Zixun's men shouts.

"Retreat." Jin Zixun orders his men.

"Young Master Wei, you're bleeding all over your body." Wen Ning rushes to Wei Wuxian's side while still deflecting all the arrows.

"Shush. It's alright, A-Ning. Make sure that peacock is alive, will you?"

Wen Ning picked both Wei Wuxian and Jin Zixuan and flew as fast as he could. Only when he sees it is safe enough, he lands. Suibian can't hold them any longer.

"Young Master Jin, can you fly by yourself? Suibian is not strong enough to hold the three of us. I need to go to Burial Mounds soon, Young Master Wei's conditions are critical."

"Wen Ning, we're going to Koi Tower, it's closer than Burial Mound." Jin Zixuan hates the idea of telling Yanli about his brother's condition. How he supposed to tell Yanli that Wei Wuxian is now dying protecting him?"

"B...b...but, Koi Tower is not a safe place for Young Master Wei."

"I know, but everyone is there, they can help healed Wei Wuxian. I want to see Jin Zixun get punished for his crime. If we go to Burial Mounds, Zixun would have made up excuses."

"B...but." Wen Ning doesn't know what will happen if they found out that Young Master Wei doesn't have a golden core.

"Trust me, please" Jin Zixuan insists

"Alright, Young Master Jin." Wen Ning agrees

They fly as fast as they could to Koi Tower, with Wei Wuxian being held by Wen Ning.
