At Jinlintai

After Lan Wangji and Wen Ning left carrying Wei Wuxian, things at Jinlintai became chaotic.

Madam Jin silences everyone.

"Since things have gone this bad, I, Madam Jin of Jin Sect, have announcements. Starting from now, my Son, Jin Zixuan, will be the next leader of Jin Sect. The previous Sect Leader, Jin Guangshan, will be held captive for further trial due to his crime against one of our guests, Wei Wuxian. Jin Zixun and Jin Guangyao will also be put in prison. All of them will be stripped from their spiritual powers."

"You...you can't do this to me. I am the Sect Leader." Jin Guangsahn roars.

Madam Jin un-sheeted her sword, "Do you forget that I was one of the Ladies of Mishan Yu Sect? Do you want to taste my strength? I have spoken to the elders about this. It is befitting for your crimes; you shall be punished. I don't know how many schemes you have to fulfill your ambition of becoming the next Wen Ruohan." Madam Jin spats in anger. 

Jin Guangshan shudder hearing Madam Jin's words. 

"Guards, make sure these men wouldn't escape." Madam Jin orders the guards to surround Jin Guangshan, Jin Zixun, and Jin Guangyao."

"Does everyone here have any objection to my words?"Madam Jin looks around the banquet hall.

"Madam Jin, could you give A-Yao a chance to explains himself?" Lan Xichen tries to defend his sworn-brother. He just can't believe that his sworn brother is capable of doing such a crime.

"Xichen, you don't know who he is. Our sworn brother has killed my General because of the continuous insults he received. That was the reason I told him to leave Qinghe. You put too much trust in him. This man is capable of doing things as Young Madam Jin had concluded."

"Da-ge, you never told me about the murder he committed. Why?"

"Because your heart is too pure, Xichen. You would not believe me. You believe Jin Guangyao more than you believe me," there is bitterness in Sect Leader Nie's words.

"Da-ge" Lan Xichen looks at Nie Mingjue, but the latter just brush his hand.

"Do not dwell on this, Xichen." Nie Mingjue then turns his head towards Madam Jin,

"Madam Jin, The Nie Sect will stand with you and your decisions. I, too, want to put them on trial. I believe it is more than what it seems. We have to find more evidence and witnesses. If any of you has any objection toward Madam Jin's decision, you will face The Nie Sect." Nie Mingjue states firmly.

"I disagree, we don't have any proof. It's just young Master Jin's words, and you use that to delegitimized Sect Leader Jin." Sect Leader Yao angrily shouts.

"I, Jiang Wanyin, believe in Jin Zixun's confession. He's telling the truth because I had Zidian wrapped on his body. He wouldn't tell lies. The Jiang Sect supports all of Madam Jin's decisions." Jiang Wanyin says.

"If Sect Leader Yao has any objections, we will hear them on trials. Now, let's stripped these men from their spiritual powers." Madam Jin Says.

"Wait, please. It's not Young Master Jin Guangyao's fault. I am the one who casts the spells to Jin Zixun. Young Master Jin Guangyao only tries to protect me. When he saw the way Jin Zixun treated me, he told me about the curse. How I could cast that curse without anyone knows, he promised me to blame Wei Wuxian." Suddenly Su Minshan of the Molling Sect stands in front of everyone.

"What? It proves that my conjecture is right. Jin Guangyao indeed had planned this all along." Jiang Yanli says.

Suddenly Zidian crackles and Jin Guangyao are thrown quite far.

"You bastard, Wei Wuxian never did anything wrong to you. He never even insulted you in the past. Yet, you framed him and made him killed."

"Sect Leader Jiang, hold yourself. I will seal their spiritual powers now." Nie Mingjue puts his hand on Jiang Wanyin's shoulder.

Jiang Wanyin hold his anger while gritting his teeth

"Xichen, what is your decision? Do you support Madam Jin?"

"Da-Ge..." Lan Xichen is speechless.

"Er-Ge, please help me." Jin Guangyao releases himself from the guard, kneeling in front of Lan Xichen

"Er-Ge, you know me better than anyone in this room. You don't believe them, do you? Please, Er-Ge. "

"Am I not the one who had helped you hide from the Wens during your runaway? I was the one who took care of you, have you forgotten, Er-Ge? Do you think I am capable of doing that horrendous scheme?" Jin Guangyao gives Lan Xichen his pleading look.

Lan Xichen almost, almost take Jin Guangyao's hands with his own. But, Nie Mingjue stops Lan Xichen. Nie Mingjue holds Lan Xichen's arms firmly. "What is this, Guangyao? Are you trying to manipulate Xichen to be on your side? I will not allow you."

Nie Mingjue turns to Lan Xichen and speaks softly,

"Xichen, remember this, I think his kindness to you is a trap. He never genuinely cares for you. He uses you to gain my trust, and he uses you to gain Jin Guangshan's favor. He uses you over and over again. Don't you think it's enough? Have you not cared for Wangji? Guangyao had caused the death of Wei Wuxian. You know how much Wei Wuxian meant to Wangji. Guangyao knows this, right? He uses your trust; he uses your brother to write the letter to lured Wei Wuxian so he would come here."

"Da-Ge, how can you be so sure A-Yao is guilty?" Lan Xichen felt hurt inside. If all of this is true, than his sworn brother had betrayed him multiple times. He even used Wangji for his scheme.

"Think about it. God damn it. Xichen, this man had fooled you. Huaisang told me his thoughts just now when Zixun confessed. Huaisang always observes things surround him, you know. I believe Huaisang's judgment."

Lan XIchen takes a deep breath,

"How dare you A-Yao, using Wangji for your goal. I, Lan Xichen, support Madam Jin with her decision."

Jin Guangyao un-sheeted Hensheng and attacks Lan Xichen. Lan Xichen, who was stabbed in his stomach, falls on his knees. Jin Guangyao puts the blade on Lan Xichen's neck.

"Don't come any closer, or I will kill Sect Leader Lan."

"Preposterous!" Lan Qiren roars. "How dare you use lowly tricks like this! Let go of my nephew."

Suddenly, a fan flew towards Jin Guangyao and hit him on the head, Hensheng falls to the ground. Baxia has already flown and cut Jin Guangyao's hand. Jin, Guangyao screams. 

Nie Mingjue hurries sealed all of the spiritual powers of Jin Guangyao, Jin Guangshan, Jin Zixun, and Su Minshan to prevent further causalities.

The healer immediately checks on Lan Xichen's conditions. It is fortunate that the wound is not that deep and not reach any internal organ.

Nie Huaisang whispers something to his brother.

"Who else is in this game? Huaisang just reminds me of Xue Yang. Where is that delinquent, Xue Yang? Jin Guangshan, where you keep that brat?"

"I don't know where he is. He must have fled from here."

"Damn it. I should've known. You bastard! You released a delinquent who massacred the whole clan."

"Sect Leader Nie, I think enough talking. We should put them in dungeons, separately. Now that they don't have access to their spiritual power, we shall discuss the Wen Remnants." Madam Jin states.

"Guards, take all of them to the dungeons. I will escort them to make sure nobody escaped." Jin Zixuan orders his guards.
