Prowling these empty halls had been so irritating for Daishō, practically hell. Did those Karasuno nothings really have plans, or were they just hiding somewhere to dry their tears after another loss. "Probably the latter~" he sing-songed to himself, he couldn't help but chuckle.

As he completed his second loop of the school, trying to find any signs of life, he heard it. Footsteps. 'Ahhhh, there is someone here. Might as well drop in and say hello, get someone else to deliver these stupid papers.'

It wasn't hard to follow the sound of footsteps, and the fruits of his labor? This orange haired munchkin, well, the Karasuno Libero was even shorter, but still.

Daishō had teased him a bit, as he always does when bitter (Which was all the time), not to mention a tad angry at handling grunt work. But he would be lying if he didn't atleast say that when the Orangette turned around, he felt his breath hitch.

The way those large hazel eyes glimmered with bright energy, sparkling like stars. His cherubic features with slightly chubby cheeks, they honestly looked like they would have the texture of mochi. Those fiery locks of orange hair that reminded Daishō of sunbeams. And finally, those soft lips uttering those heartbreaking words of not wanting to be alone.

Coughing into his hand to attempt to get his thoughts back in order, Daishō snapped out of his daze to find Hinata giving him an equally as intense inspection.

Cringing at the memory of what had transpired earlier on the train, Daishō tried his best to prepare himself for whatever backlash he was going to receive for his serpentine appearence. Preemptively looking away, as to hide any pain he would show from being rejected by such an adorable person.

"Awesome..." Daishō paused when he heard those words being spoken, daring to flick his eyes back to a beaming Hinata. "Your eyes are so cool, green like an Aodaisho!"

This was foreign to Daishō, being complimented on his appearence, even Mika rarely said such things. He managed to eventually find his voice when Hinata's eyes curiously gleamed up at him, as if telling him to contribute to the conversation.

Taking a deep breath, the snake began with the basics, "Th-thank you" he cursed that stutter with a passion, knowing that a certain rooster head would be laughing his ass off at this whole situation. "My name is Daishō Suguru, Captain of Nohebi's volleyball team, ranked in the top teams of Japan" Daishō couldn't help the smirk that formed on his face when Hinata's eyes widened on hearing the words 'Captain' and 'Top teams of Japan'.

Finally gaining some confidence in his words, he brought his face a tad closer to Hinata's asking in a slightly teasing voice, "And what's your name, Munchkin~" he gave Hinata a little tap on the nose, the bubbly laughter erupting from the orangette put a pleasant heat in the pit of Daishō's stomach. His smirk had melted into a much softer smile, now he really wanted to know this kid's name.

Puffing out his chest with pride, a tiny smirk playing on his lips, Hinata pointed a thumb to his chest before loudly introducing himself, "I am Hinata Shōyō, and I'm hopefully going to be the next member of Karasuno! To chase the legacy of being the next Little giant!"

"I suppose you would have to be a little giant, not like you could be an actual giant~ hahahaha" Daishō started snickering into his hand, earning a rather adorable pout from Hinata.

"Mou! That's not fair, I can jump super high ya know! Height isn't everything!" Hinata began to flap his arms up and down out of pure unadulterated childishness, his height was perfect! Even if he did constantly wish to get taller, he was atleast at peace with being short.......sometimes.

Daishō's laughter grew louder and louder as he watched the Ginger's expression and antics, eventually gasping for breath. Wiping away a few wayward tears from his intense laughing fit, Daishō held his hand out for Hinata to shake. "I look forward to playing against you, if you crows can even make it that far~"
