-Y/N'S POV-
As all 3 of us enjoy our pancakes I look at the time and i don't even realise it's been 2 hours.
"sh!t!" i shout as loud as I could.
With their hands over their ears they look at me confused and shout back, "what!?"
"It's 8am I'm gonna be late for my first day at work" I say running upstairs to get my bag , shoes and car keys. Struggling to get my shoes on I open the door and look back at my cousins, "wish me luck I'm gonna need it after being late on my first day!"
They laugh at me and both shout good luck as I unlock my small pink car. I step on the peddle as hard as I ever had and race my way to work,
"𝐼 𝑏𝑒𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑜𝑤 𝑖 𝑔𝑜𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒"
My hands begin to get sweaty as I reach for the door handle to my new work place - it's a clothes shop in the middle of town.
As I open the door I'm greated with a mix of smiley and tired faces, I walk around the shop abit before spotting someone that looks like they're important here.
I tap her on the shoulder as she turns to me, she looks confused but at the same time relived.
"hi" I say as she looks me up and down.
"You must be y/n , how nice of you to finally join us" she says making me blush because I know I'm 30 minutes late.
"sorry I was just stuck in some traffic." I lie but I don't think she suspects anything.
"okay since it's your first day I'll give you a pass but work on timing it's important here"she smiles down at me, (I'm quite small so I'm used to people having to look down at me).
