The Castle

(The day after the first chapter)

(Y/N's POV)

It felt like a huge weight had lifted off of my shoulders when I heard my husband leave for work.

The relationship I had with him couldn't be continued, not anymore.

I fixed myself and my bruises up, preparing to leave and hopefully never coming back.

I hurried out of the house, making my way into the center of the village I resided in, and from there to the road that led into the start of a thick dark forest.

Despite it being almost the middle of the day, it was quite hard for me to see or navigate through the forest.

I had been walking through the forest for almost an hour now, trying to find any kind of residence, anything other than the village.

It didn't take long after, that I saw the start of some kind of courtyard.

It looked like anyone wasn't there to see me so I walked further into the courtyard to see where it would lead.

At the end of the courtyard I started to see the shape of a large castle behind all of the fog.

When I finally found my way to the courtyard's door that was lit up by fiery candles, It felt as if something or someone grabbed the back of my neck, hitting my head on the hard stone wall, knocking me out cold.

The last vision I saw, was the slender figures of 2 or 3 ladies in cloaks.

Inside the cellar of Castle Dimitrescu

(Still Y/N's POV)

I felt the cold concrete floor against my body as I awoke in a cell. I had been brought here for trespassing, great.

Looking around I noticed a hole under the 'bed', big enough for me to crawl through.

Crawling to the other side, I opened the empty cell's door which was surprisingly open.

Almost everywhere I looked there were torture machines and dead wrapped bodies, or as the labels of the medicine called them 'livestock'.

In one of the holding cells I found a bucket filled with blood, dipping my hand in I found myself a lockpick.

Further into the cellar, I lockpicked a small metal box with a lever inside, it opening the two closed doors revealing a room with a bright light.

From there I just had to go up the stairs to a small dining room that stenched like wine and corpses. (Choke me like you hate me but you love me)

Inside one of the cabinets was another crawlspace.

After going through all the other things after that, the light finally led me to a ladder.

Going up the ladder, It started looking more like the inside of a castle.

Now I was interested in this place even more.

Also I tried to make this a fast chapter because of school stuff in the way, but hopefully next chapter Lady Dimitrescu will make her appearance.
