Bullax and Roxas walked out of a dark corridor into the secret passageway at Beast's Castle.

"We have to investigate this castle today, right?" Roxas nodded, "right." "We'd better be careful not to let anybody here see us." "I guess." "You guess?" "Yeah, I mean... last time I was here, the place seemed deserted. All I heard was-- never mind." "What?" "I heard this roar. Like an animal... a big one." "Really? What was it?" "I don't know. I guess we may find out today." "I guess so. Well, let's get started."

The duo went off through the secret passage way. They ended up in the Ballroom. Heartless surrounded them and they took them out.

They soon went off once again, to the west wing.

"The master is in quite an unfortunate mood today." "Roxas!" "I heard it too." They walked down and Roxas peeked around the corner, seeing a candelabra. "If only he would leave his chambers..." "What did you see?" "Would you believe... a walking, talking, candelabra?" "Oh, come on." Xirku looked for himself then backed up. "Whoa, you weren't kidding. But... how can it..." "Beats me. But it did say something about a master." "So it's a servant of the castle?" "Sounds crazy, but... maybe."

They went on their way once more. They got to a new hallway and got to the doors.

"Think this is the master's room?" "Graaaaaaugh!" They jumped. "W-what was that?" "Maybd just barging in is z bad idea." "Take a look inside." He nodded then took a look.

He turned to her. "Well, Roxas?" "There's a... strange monster inside." She looked then backed up, turning to him. "Whoa... what is he?" "I don't know, but get away from the door. I don't want him to see us here." She nodded.

They backed away from the door.

"Roxas, that monster--" "He's the castle's master." "Really? Huh. I never would've guessed that at all." "He is not leaving his room, like the candelabra said." "The world's name makes sense then. He's fighting the Heartless like us, right?" "Yeah. He is. He's protecting his home." "We would as well. I think we're done here, Roxas. Let's go." He nodded, "yeah. You're right."
