Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Day 94-95

Xemnas summoned the last members and talked about Kingdom Hearts.

Roxas and Bullax went to Beast's Castle again.

"The Heartless we're after is called a Neoshadow, right? I hope we don't wind up searching all day." "Let's head out through this hall." The duo left and got to tbe stairs.

"Surely there must be some way to get Belle and the master to forgive each other..." "It's that candelabra." "Yeah, the one we saw before." "If they don't... I shall be a table decoration forever! No-- I will speak to Mademoiselle Belle. Perhaps she can talk some sense into him..."

"I don't get it. The candelabra doesn't want to be a candelabra?" "So this Belle person lives here in the castle. The two have been fighting. She must be pretty brave." "Yeah... but you're assuming Belle's human. So far nobody else seens to be." "You got a point there. Let's just get out mission done." "Right."

The duo went on their way to find the Neoshadow. They went through the dungeon, still in there though.

"Roxas, up there!" She pointed at the Neoshadow that was up the stairs. "Let's take it out." They fought it then defeated it.

"Mission accomplished." Roxas made the Keyblade go away. "Yeah." "Ready head back? We can stop for ice cream and--" "Huh?!" Two more appeared behind them.

"Graaaaaaugh!" Beast jumped at them and took em out. "The Heartless do not belong here-- not in my castle!" He left.

"Whoa..." "So he has been fighting the Heartless." "Apparently." "Guess this castle plays by different rules than ours." "What?" "Beast is the master here." "Oh. I see what you're saying now." "Right?" "We better get to Axel." "Oh. Yeah."

They left.

They got to the Clocktower.

Axel and Xengel looked at them. "Hey, you two. How'd work go? Think you can keep pulling off double duty?" "So far so good." "Roxas took our target down in no time flat." "Well, great. Keep it up."

They nodded and sat down. They started eating.

"All this fighting... I wonder what it's for." "Come on, you knos what it's fod. We have to complete Kingdom Hearts. You saw it, too, didn't you?" "But what is Kingdom Hearts?" "A place where hearts gather, right?" "It's where all the hearts wind uo after they're released by you. When we gather enough, we might finally get hearts of our own." "Hearts shall be made our own..." "Is Kingdom Hearts really that important?" "Are you crazy?" "I just don't see why having a heart is that important, you know. Come on, you're wondering about that now?"

"Well, I don't understand, since I don't have a heart." "Roxas..." "We'll understand once we have our own hearts. That's why we fight, to find out what it's about." "Ok. I guess you're right."

Xengal stared at the sunset. "Kingdom Hearts... I think that name is familiar to me... but it hurts to think about what it could be..." She finished her treat then looked at Roxas. "I'll keep him safe this time..."

Roxas and Bullax went on their mission and finished it.

The trio sat on the Clocktower.

"Another successful day?" "Of course! Where'd they send you, Axel? Xengal?" "The place you guys hit yesterday." "You mean the castle with the talking candelabra?" "That's the one. They needed us to do a little digging through the dust and cobwebs. How bout you?" "Heart collection in Agrabah. Same as usual." "You're really getting the hang of working together, huh?" "How much longer can we fool the others?" "Relax, we'll be fine."

"Don't be too sure. They're not stupid." "Demyx would never find out." The four laughed a bit. "We all are special, huh?" "Yeah. We have things we are good at. What we have in common, is that we have memories of our past." "I am getting my share of memories. Roxas? Bullax?" Bullax and Roxas looked away. "None. I don't know anything other than the Organization." "Same here." "What about you Axel? What were you like before becoming a Nobody?" "Huh? Me? Oh, I dunno. I think I've always been pretty much the same." "He really is the same. Still a lame and laughable."

"Hey!" The trio laughed. "Huh. You know... I think we've known each other before the Organization." "You think so?" "Yeah. You're just really familiar to me. I just can't place my finger on it." "It'll come to ya. Just gotta be patient." Roxas smiled and nodded. "Yeah." Xengal looked at the blonde and smiled at Axel, "pretend you're Lea again. Introduce yourself to him."

Axel sighed and nodded. "Alright." He looked at Roxas. "I'm Lea, got it memorized? What's your name?" He blinked and stared at him. "Ventus." He covered his mouth in confusion. "Whoa..." She smiled and got up. "Yes! You remembered your name! You, Lea, Isa, and I met before we became Nobodies!" He uncovered his mouth, "Lea... Angel..." She got to him and knelt down. She hugged him tightly, "Ventus."

Bullaz watched then looked at the sunset. A tear fell down her cheek.
