While Maka began to free her parents and administer the antidote to her mother, Alucard and Pierre continued to stroll through the right path within the cave. Their time together wasn't nearly as eventful as the other pair's, so much so that Alucard was afflicted with boredom during their trek through the cave.
"Man, this sucks..." Alucard said.
Pierre, curious what bothered Alucard, asks, "Huh? Why? We've only just begun."
"I'm stuck with the most boring person in the group and we're still walking in this boring tunnel." Alucard answered.
"The most boring person in the group?..." Pierre blinked at the thought, then continued, "Oof... That might be true..."
Alucard spots the end of their respective tunnel, and points at it, "Hey look, Pierre." Alucard said.
"Hm?" Pierre looked after being in his woes and spotted an opening at the end of the tunnel. "Have we finally reached the end of this tunnel..." Pierre said.
Alucard accelerated his pace and strutted toward the opening, hoping that they'd be able to win the race he set himself for against William.
"Let's hurry! Will & Maka might be on the other side already!" Alucard said, then thought, Dammit... I wanted to get there before Will... But I was stuck with this old man...
Alucard went ahead of Pierre, clearly, victory was more important than synchronization with the group.
Once he exited the tunnel, the sight before him left his fangs sharp in fear, "Oh crap..." Alucard softly said.
Pierre paced behind Alucard, watching him halt in his tracks at the end of the tunnel, and asked, "What? What is it?"
He saw what was within Alucard's vision, which was the countless amount of snow monsters hoarded throughout this room, small ones, long ones, and even giant ones.
"They're everywhere..." Alucard said.
"Wait, look..." Pierre murmured, his words aimed at a central part of the room.
Alucard looked past the hive and spotted a unique snow creature sitting on a chair structure made from the stones within the cave.
"That must be their leader..." Pierre said.
The snow beasts surrounded the alpha, who likely had to wave his finger to end the lives of the two travelers.
"I'm guessing he's the top dog around here..." Alucard softly said.
"We should be careful, there are too many enemies around here." Pierre said.
The cave dwellers surrounded their king with news for his majesty.
"My lord, it appears we have intruders!" a long beast said.
"Yes! A group of four has infiltrated our castle, my lord." a second one said.
They circled him like the wayward sisters, all hoping to provide enough information to the king to receive his gratitude.
"Four?—" The king sighed, then said, "I see—It must be Maka, she must be here with the boy that I asked for."
"But there are 2 others sir..."
"Two uninvited guests..."
Kang raised his hand at the useless information, and said, "They're already here. I sensed them as soon as they entered the castle—" he then looked forward, into the darkness surrounding his throne room, and shouted, "Come on out now!"
Alucard and Pierre gave themselves to the notion of being spotted even though they were sure to remain hidden, but that was not successful.
Alucard stepped forward, treating this with nonchalant as his hands were tucked into his pockets, and said, "I'm surprised you sensed us..."
