Isolated (Tom Hiddleston x reader)

Y/N P.O.V.

I woke up to a loud knocking coming from her door. I looked around and noticed I fell asleep on the couch. I got up and looked through the peephole and noticed it was...

"Tom?" I frown and open the door for him. "Its 10pm what are you-"

"Can I stay hear for the night?" Tom cut me off but a slight crack in his voice made it obvious. Tom wasn't looking at me at all. He needed someone right now.

"Of course come on. Damn it's cold tonight." I stood aside for him to come in. Tom walked in and his teeth chattered a bit from the cold.

"Oh let me make you some hot chocolate and you sit on the couch." I said and went to the kitchen and started to make him some hot chocolate. Tom sat on the couch not saying anything but would occasionally sniff cause of his runny nose.

I walk to him with the hot chocolate in hand and gave it to him. Tom finally looked at me. His eyes were red and puffy from crying. His nose was red from the cold and sniffly.

"T-Thank you." Tom gave a weak smile and sipped om the coco. I could tell it made him feel a bit better. I got a blanket and wrapped it around him. I sat down beside him on the couch.

"Tom whats the matter? Why were you in the cold?" I finally ask and Tom looked like he was going to burst into tears again.

"I-I was walking home from hanging out with Chris." He sniffed and his voice cracked. "When I got home I could hear Vanessa was cheating on my with another man." Tom's eyes welled up with tears.

That bitch

"Oh my Tom I'm so sorry. You don't deserve that at all. You can stay here for as long as you need to." I give him a warm hearted smile and he smiled back.

"I'm so sorry for the intrusion." Tom looked down and you lightly and playfully smack his head.

"Thomas William Hiddleston. Dont you dare apologize. You are always welcome here. Besides you need someone and you were there for me when I needed someone, its time I be there for you." I smile at him. Tom puts down his mug and hugs me tightly. I was taken back by it but I instantly hug him back.

"Thank you Y/N. For always being there." Tom smiled and hugged you tighter.

"What are friends for."

We stayed in the embrace till we let go. We didn't know what to say at first and the silence was overbearing.

"I'll stop by your place tomorrow and get your stuff for you?" I said and looked at him. Tom shook his head.

"I'll just buy new clothes its alright. I don't want anything from that infested place come and infect yours." Tom said. I let out a little laugh which made him smile.

"Alright. How about you take my room tonight. I'll rest om the couch." I smile at him and got up.

"No no no no i can't do that to you in your own home." Tom frowned and shook his head again.

"I'm not taking no for an answer." I giggle/chuckles at him. "Now get up."

"Y/N-"

"Tom i said go." I giggle/chuckle and pull him up. Tom chuckles and got on his feet.

"You need lots of rest cause tomorrow I am going to make it my mission to cheer you up!" I smile widely and Tom looked me in the eyes and chuckles.

"Oh? What plans do you have for us?" Tom chuckles and a light blush coloured my cheeks.

"That's for me to know and you to find out after you get some rest. I'll show you to your room." I took his hand and led him up the stairs to my room. Tom chuckled at me and followed me.

My room was about a medium sized room. Not too big not too small. The walls were painted a soft cream andni had a desk and a closet. A bathroom door beside the closet that led to your own bathroom. The bed was a double bed with a light grey covers and a kitten plushie.

"Alright, the closet is off limits and you may use my bathroom and my shampoo and soap and yada yada." I giggle/chuckle and gave him a room tour.

"Thank you so much Y/N." Tom hugged me tightly and swayed us a little. I hugged back and smiled widely. It felt good just being with him. No Vanessa. No distractions. Just me and him.

I noticed that I didn't answer him and was just in a trance for 10 seconds.

"O-Of course anything for you." I smiled at him and let go and laughed nervously. Y/N why are you so awkward ? Pull yourself together!!!

We let go of the hug and I turned to leave the room.

"Goodnight Y/N." Tom smiles at me. My heart skipped a beat and I instinctively smile back.

"Goodnight Tom." I close the door and went to the couch. I cuddled under the blanket and closed my eyes.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day!
