A cool breeze slipped through the air on the windy day. A day where Clay's life would change forever.

-

Clay felt like he was falling, normally people might be scared of falling but Clay felt relaxed. It was a endless void that he felt himself speeding through. Cold air pressed against his skin as he eventually hit the ground, not feeling any pain.

As he opened his eyes his view revealed a bunch of snowy hills, and in the distance stood a small cabin.

Snow was all around him as it seemed as he was stuck in a tundra.

Slowly moving off the ground he stood up and slowly started making his way through the harsh slush.

As he could see the weather was only getting colder and the snow was only getting heavier. From this sight it was only going to get worse. He had to get to the cabin if he didn't want to freeze.

Little by little he had gotten closer to the cabin. The scent of smoke coming out of the chimney filled the air and he felt a little source of heat.

When the cabin was fully in view it seemed as there was already a light on inside. Was someone here? Someone that could help him?

Grasping onto the deck Clay pulled himself up to the door. Without even thinking of knocking he used all his body weight and pushed the door open. As soon as it open he collapsed to the ground, snow tracking behind him.

'Bam'

Clay felt a hit to the chest as he looks up to see another boy standing above him.

"Who the hell are you?" The boy says scared. He held a bat in his arms which Clay was assuming was what hit him.

"Help me"

"Shit."

The other boy quickly dropped the bat and reached over to grab Clay, dragging him to the couch.

He quickly slammed the door shut letting the freezing cold air leave the house.

Clay slowly stretched himself out on the couch, slowly regaining his breath. The cold had took most of the energy out of him.

"I.. um. Are you okay?" The other boy stuttered.

Clay looked over at him and gave him a half weak smile.

"Here uh.. take this." The boy says as he rests a blanket on top of Clay.

"I'm sorry I hit you, I was just nervous cause I mean you kind of barged in. Anyways uh my names George and um I mean when you feel like you can talk then you can introduce yourself."

George looked over to Clay who was already passed out.

He knew what position Clay was in. When he has first arrived in the tundra it took all of his energy out of him to get to the Cabin. This was where he had called home for who knows how long. Having some company wouldn't hurt. Would it?

-

As Clay started to open his eyes he was greeted with warmth from around his body. George had places a blanket on him and had cleaned up all of the snow.

"Mmmm." Clay groaned.

"Oh good you're up." George said placing a cup of hot chocolate for Clay on the table. "And your name is?"

"Clay."

"Nice to meet you Clay. Uh sorry about the whole meeting you thing... was just a little nervous."

"You can say that again." Clay mumbled under his breath.

"What is this place..?" Clay quickly questioned as he took a sip of his cocoa.

"It's a tundra. I don't really know why I'm here. I've been here for a while and nobody has show up. How did you get here?" George asked giving a questioned look to Clay.

"I'm.. I'm not sure. I just remember I was falling. I couldn't see anything but all I knew is that I was falling fast. Soon enough I woke up in a pile of snow in the middle of a snowstorm."

"Wow.. that's what happened to me. I remember seeing this cabin. It was empty when I had arrived so I had turned it into a small home." George replies.

"How do we get home?"

"I'm not sure. I've been trying to get out but the storm seems to never go away. It's like this everyday and I have had no chance of exploring the outside cause of it."

"So are we stuck here forever?" Clay sighed.

"Who knows. But am I that bad?" George laughed.

"Well you did hit me with a bat."

Both of them suddenly bursted into a fit of laughter from Clay's comment.

"Self defense." George smirked as he took a sip of cocoa.

"How do you live like this? Do you run out of food? Do you get bored?" Clay questioned curious to get some answers.

"Oh trust me I've been bored. And for food, it's odd. When I wake up it seems as if the food has restocked. It's like magic almost."

"That's odd... also I mean sorry that I barged in I never fully asked but am I able to stay here?"

"Clay of course you can, other than the weird introduction we had, it would be nice to have some company." George smiled.

"Thank you so much. And don't worry I can sleep on the couch cause technically this is your house I guess?"

"Don't be silly Clay. There's two beds in the room. I pushed them together to make it bigger but since you are here we can separate them so it's not odd."

"You were here first you can keep the rooms organized however you want. We will eventually get used to each other's company, eh?"

"Yeah. We will."
