They had been on the bus for about three and a half hours since the trip began, but they were sure they'd have to ride on the bus throughout the night.
Some of the students were excited, though. The sky was so pretty, it put a nice outlook of the school in their minds. Most of the kids didn't even notice the sky, though. They were busy doing whatever else they could to keep themselves entertained. One of those students was reading a book, with their head against the back of the seat in front of them. She had long brown hair, bangs which reached to the right side of her head, and blue starry eyes.
She was about eleven years old, and had the powers of moonlight. As she read onto the next page of her book, her left wolf ear flopped down. The girl groaned, and sat up. Then she pushed it back up.
When werewolves like her were really relaxed, their wolf ears would flop down on their own. The girl hated this, because it bothered her having her ears flopped down. After she took her eyes off the book's pages, she had lost her page. She had to go find her spot. When she did, she got sucked into the book again.
Xyla Wolf was the name of the girl. She liked graphic novels, since she'd grown up with them in Moondawn, and they had been really popular. Reading them filled her with memories of her old home, and that made her feel calm and comfortable, wherever and whenever.
While Xyla had her head buried in her book, her sister was listening to music. Yolanda had her headphones in, listening from her phone. She had light blonde hair that dyed into a coral color in the middle. Then it would fade back into her light blonde. Yolanda also had wings, as she was part whisp.
Xyla's sister was more than a sister. They were somehow twins, even though they looked nothing alike. Xyla had moonlight powers, and Yolanda had sunlight. It didn't make sense to them, and they were still trying to figure out the mystery.
The bus kept going. Yolanda looked up, and saw that the bus was coming close to a tall building. The building caught her attention, and she stared in awe at the spectacular scene. The tall academy was made of shimmering black marble, shaped into an oval.
