My One and Only (Sequel to You & Me)

Chapter 6

The next couple of days, McKayla didn't take Robert's words seriously and kept partying and doing the drugs. She was at a local bar with her friends doing the usual with some guys

Hey. Wollen Sie zurück zu meinem Platz gehen? (Hey. Want to back to my place?)" one guy asked McKayla

She smiled at him and nodded. The man and McKayla got up and left the bar. They took McKayla's car and halfway to his place there were police lights behind them

"Shit..." McKayla mumbled as she pulled over

The policeman got out of his car and walked up to the driver's window and knocked on it. She rolled down her window and looked at the officer

"Ja, officer? (Yes, officer?)" asked McKayla

"Lizenz und Registrierung (License and registration)" said the officer

McKayla nodded as she reached in her sun visor and grabbed her registration. She then reached in her purse and grabbed her license and handed both to the officer. He went back to his car to run everything, then went back to McKayla's car and gave her license and registration back

"Ich brauche Sie und Ihr Freund, um aus dem Auto Fräulein Schritt. Matthews (I need you and your friend to step out of the car Miss. Matthews)" demanded the officer

McKayla groaned and her and the guy stepped out of her car

"Hände auf dem Fahrzeug, bitte (Hans on the vehicle, please)" said the officer

They placed their hands on the hood of McKayla's car as the officer arrested them. Putting them in the back of his police car, he took them to jail. McKayla sat in her cell for about five hours when one of the guards came and opened her cell

"MCKAYLA MATTHEWS!" shouted the guard

"Yeah" she said

"Sie machte bail (You made bail)" he told her

She looked at the guard in shock as she got up. She followed the guard to the entrance and saw Robert standing there. He looked at her and could tell he was upset

"Here she is Mr. Downey" the guard said in broken English

"Thank you" replied Robert

Without saying a word to him, she followed him out of the building. McKayla noticed he had her car. She was about to ask, but Robert beat her to the punch

"I saw it running on the side of the road and I could tell its been searched by cops" he told her

McKayla didn't say anything and got into the passengers side of the car. Robert sighed and got into the drivers seat

"Take me back to my dorm" McKayla said

"No" replied Robert

"Why?!" exclaimed McKayla

"We're going back to the hotel! We need to talk again" he told her

McKayla sighed as Robert drove to the hotel.

Oh boy! I don't think our Robert is to happy with McKayla. I wonder how their talk will turn out....
